I need a QUALITY, PCI sound card.

I had a SB live and it broke. I ran my AWE64 for awhile but it died. So, I'm stuck with my SB16 and I can't play any of my DVDs because the sound crackles out of existance.. :-/

An old SB Live Value would be ok... but perhaps an Aureal or something. used it fine..

I am looking for a deal on a slide scanner. The USB Minolta Scan Dual II would be really nice. I saw the Scan Dual I (Scsi) at cameraworld for $300 and I might just get that if I can't find a deal on another one. Lame thing is that Scan Dual I doesn't do batch scans and scanning my stacks of negatives one at a time would be really slooow.
