Why newegg, why?! 🙂

I have a MicroCenter near me, so I will most likely buy from there.
Someone posted a scan of the prices and it seems the 3770k will be $289.

I actually had a feeling this was going to happen. If they priced it lower no one would buy sandy bridge

Wow that was fast newegg already charged and now in packaging.

Usually It takes a day to verify my credit card

No, because:

I just got the i7-3770K with the gigabyte ud5 (combo).. Justified it all by the 30 dollar savings on the combo.. and then proceeded to get 30$ next day shipping. I'm not well. I hope I don't regret the gigabyte purchase. My trusty setup is just fine.. Oh well.. I'm sure I can fit another motherboard on the counter. heh.

And this HT stuff seems like BS.. I don't like it on my laptop, but I can disable it in BIOS on the gigabyte board. I got it for the 8M L3.. Hope I don't get a dud.

BTW: CompUSA/TigerDirect have a couple Ivy Bridge parts on their website.. but they are the non K variants.. One of them is the S, whatever that means. Unlocked graphics perhaps?

This pricing just further concretes my satisfaction with my i5 2500k. 🙂
(Though, the new k-series chips are only about $25 off the mark, IMO)
