why the microcenter i7 is 60$ cheaper than newegg ???

newegg is banking on people to just order from them based on the fact that theyre a huge reputable place. Some people maybe didnt even check prices from other places.

Also, they want to continue to sell the 2500k, and since people buy items based on reviews, they see the 2500k, most reviewed cpu on newegg, and has a good rep, they might get that (thinking its $50 cheaper than the next model up).

and lastly, theyre doing it because they can. Im sure people will buy from them, and im sure even if they sell 80%less IVB cpu's than if they sold them at a reasonable price, that extra 50 bucks will enable them to make the same profit on less chips.
