I don't have a CS degree for one. 🙄 Did you have teh internships? Teh jawb experience? Or did you just maintain your stance of dominance while you whipped out your dick?
Yep.

You know why I had all that? Because I got out and earned. Get money, get paid son.

But you? Nah, you spent your time dancing and playing with your dick, then whine on the internet about how Everything Sucks™. You've been cuckolded by life and you have no one to blame but yourself.

I hate SoCal. It's just a sea of roads filled with slow moving cars and people who can't drive. I was just there and it took 30 minutes to get on the 110 from downtown at like 3PM in the afternoon on a freaking work day. I don't know how anyone can live there and put up with that crap.

I don't live in Denver but it's a very nice city with lots of things to do plus so many awesome places nearby, outdoor activities and such.

I don't like NJ, so I don't live there anymore.

I don't like FL, so I don't live there anymore.

I don't like NH, so I don't live there anymore.

I don't like Socal either, so I don't live there.

I love AZ. So, here I am.

But hey, that's just how I do things. 😉

AZ is a nice state and there's a lot of cool things there. I've been all over the northern area and heading back to Sedona in a while. I still need to get to Coyote Buttes some day. I love the desert southwest.

However, I couldn't live there because of the heat in the summer. Just WAY too hot for me. I can take it in doses and don't mind travelling there in the summer but I couldn't live in it day in and day out.

Funny enough, we visited both LA & Denver end of 2013... I actually didn't mind LA traffic but could have been the period we chose to visit.

OTOH, Denver smelled funny and wasn't at all an awesome town like I was hoping for. The surrounding areas however were amazing. Our trip to Denver was definitely better than our trip to LA.

I've driven too much in the LA area...it's not always bad depending on where you are and when you are driving, but when it is bad it's horrible.

I never got a smell in Denver...perhaps the winds were carrying Greeley down as there are lots of cows there...and a meat packing plant. Sometimes the wind takes that smell a long ways.

Hmm, except that I didn't get internships not because I didn't apply but because I didn't get accepted. You do realize I did have a job as a software dev for a year before I left Seattle, right? I applied to that, you know...

But, whatev, mang. Say what you want.

I can. It is definitely hot, though. I am working on a plan to spend summers in Canada. That'll solve that problem. 😀

We smelled it as soon as we started going over some bridge... can't remember what it smelled like, just remember thinking WTH?

But just driving around the Denver area was amazing views.

"I'm a fun guy"

HE'S A FUN GUY GUISE!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh man. I LOVE THIS THREAD SO MUCH

Right there with you!
I mean, I can find shit to do in Omaha, fucking Nebraska, and Denver is boring?

Whoever would have thought there'd be a Lindy Hop Nazi?
FELLAS, STOP DANCING WRONG SO WE CAN HAVE FUN! YOU CAN'T HAVE FUN DANCING LIKE THAT!

Yeah I love it in the winter when you can see the snow covered mountains. Add in an awesome sunset behind them. I don't know that I can live anywhere else now.

Answer: we don't drive through downtown during rush hour.

I actually moved to within 2 miles of my workplace to avoid that exact interchange.

having said that: meh, traffic is everywhere that people want to be.

How is 3PM rush hour?

Anyway for where I was going there wasn't any other option. Unless I wanted to take surface streets to the 10 which was worse than the 110 at that point.

How is 3PM rush hour?

it's generally not (except on Fridays...) but you never know. accidents, presidents visiting, movie shoots, high speed chases - stuff happens. And the intersection you chose to highlight is one of the worst in SoCal.

I don't want to have to schedule my life around traffic lol.

Oh and try finding a parking space at the citadel a week before Christmas lol.

List of places where I don't go between black friday and Christmas:

1) Citadel
2) Any other mall

The Citadel traffic even backs up the freeway! So I don't take the 5 during that time frame either.

sooo...yeah I can see how LA traffic can be frustrating for out-of-towners

The Citadel was actually not too bad by the 5 at that time, but I've been there at other times of year and you just never know when the 5 will be bad. Just takes one accident and you're screwed.

I spent a fair amount of time in the area when I lived in CA so I'm generally prepared for the annoyances.

FWIW, I've been in San Diego for the past 2 years and have been spending a bunch of time in AZ as of late Tuscon and Phoenix.

I'd have to say people over there were friendlier than over here. Had many many many fun times in both cities. I'd be fine with living in either locale and i'm a SoCal born and raised by the water beach kinda guy. AZ is actually a lot of fun.

Dear TridenT,

Most people have one day of work left to survive this week. Please continue this entertainment while shoveling shitty fruit loops down your throat. It passes time quite nicely.

Best regards,
