LOL 😀

You probably gained more muscle than you lost fat in terms of weight. This isn't uncommon; fat is a lot less dense than muscle.

golf is actually a sport if you carry ur own bag and walk 18 holes.

Its like walking about 4 miles

Exercise alone rarely does anything about weight. You need to cut back on food as well (or eat more food which is indigestible - which does the same thing).

I watched my diet as well. Stopped eating junk food, try to eat healthier food. ANd no soda at all (well at most its diet soda)

When you start doing cardio and lifting weights you need to just throw the scale away.

Measure your progress by taking BF% measurements.

Wow, you must be like, out of breath and everything at the end of that 18 holes, OMG.

You act like no one plays golf here.

whats an easy way of taking BF% measurements??

When you first start working out, you can gain a few pounds of muscle and lose some fat. You get smaller but you weigh a bit more. Don't worry, muscle burns more calories than fat, when you slow down on muscle gain, the fat will come off faster and the scale will register the loss.

Do waist measurements rather than weight. Weigh yourself once a week and get yourself a tape measure. I'm 10 lbs heavier than when I started dieting/working out, but I went down from a 36" waist to a 34".

If you are concerned with health, that is a good thing to do. But your thread mentions weight only. You can eat very unhealthy food and lose lots of weight (Atkins is an example where people can do this - but they can also obey Atkins with healthy foods). You need to eat (a) less food or (b) same amount of food but make more of your consumption indigestible.
