Congrats on the nomination. As Im sure you know, its not about strength, but speed and stamina. At least for the American Gladiators. The guys who did really well, were very slim, but had a motor that didnt stop. Not saying you wont do well, just trying to help advise on what to try and tune up. If you have an "Eliminator" like the US version does, it can kill you, and strength is not a factor at all, except for one part, the air bike.

Ive never ran the Eliminator, but something fairly similar in the Marine Corps boot camp. The obstacle course, and the confidence course. I have never been so exhausted as when running them at full speed. Your legs just give out, and its very, very hard to do at a fast pace the whole way thru. Going 2+ mins at 100% is something most people simply cant do.

As I said, Im sure you know this. It may be time to slow down on the power lifting, and start with lots and lots of endurance training.

my speciality is speed and agilty. I have a sick turn of speed and great foot work (8years of rugby and I Ise to hurdle). The weightlifting has given me good speed and power. I do not train for endurance but I'll make the eliminator. We have been told it is like the a ericsn one but no one has seen it yet. I'll pace myself well but I aim to go in with a lead. It should be okay, but if it takes 2mins that is long eliminator!

Marine assault courses are no joke, tough stuff mate.

I'm doing more track stuff on Thursday and climbing on Tuesday, I am a pretty experienced climber and will be disgusted with myself if I do not win it.

I can't wait to do it!

Specs? Stats :p

5'10, 84kg, not great bench but 110kg x 3r x4s ,170 dl, 180 atg back squat, 150x3r front squat, lifts in my sig, 21 strict chin ups, 40kg weighted wide grip pull up, 45kg chin up, 50 deep dips, 25kg weighted dips x 7r.

The big difference is that I have a very good turn of pace up 40m and my footwork is very sharp, I can do flips and summersaults with my gymnastics training, I'm an experienced indoor rock climb. I'm not hugely strong but hold my own, the events I will do well in because of my speed, power and I am insanely competitve.

I'm really looking forward to te even training now :D

Thanks. I should do well, but there is of course a lot of competition.

All the girls look better in person. The pics they used from that link aren't that great imo. The photographer sucked!

The girls are all very easy on the eyes.

He posted the filming schedule already :p

They have finished.

I won't say too much as that will spoil the viewing.
