Just brainstorming here but how bad would it be if we just split the country up? I mean we obviously don't have the same values and it seems to be about 50/50. How long should a country stay together when it citizens are so different? What would be a fair way to divide the country?

Uhh the issue is that it isn't states vs. other states. It's simply urban areas vs. rural - and the urban areas are usually split a lot of times.

Tried that already, lots of bloodshed.

The level of English used during the SotU has steadily been dropping . . . I expect Trump to average 2nd or 3rd grade levels

But isn't that the average level of English across the internet? Not here this place is filled with educated nerds. But go to the average website and it's 2nd or 3rd grade level.

How many times have we seen a failure of even 3rd grade grammar even here?

After the Shrub and Obama, it couldn't get much lower. The Shrub really is an idiot so I could forgive him talking like one but Obama was freaking Harvard Law grad and he should have talked like one.

He spoke very well and did it with a limited vocabulary. If you speak like you would at Harvard you're not getting elected. Shrub apparently wasn't dumb he was just an expert at playing dumb. That's why he got elected twice.

Let Texas and California secede for a start. All illegals to CA, all tea partiers to TX. Problem solved.

LOL, the worst EC performance by a Democrat since Dukakis in 1988.

Respectfully, this forum is an echo chamber, no understanding of history either, in 240 years, only twice did the same party hold the presidency for 3 terms.

Look for the CF to be neutered and actually do what it claims to do with it's millions.

That can't be right. The 20th century alone has Harding/Coolidge/Hoover, followed by FDRx4/Truman, and then you had Reaganx2/GHWB. Not to mention a massive period of Republican dominance during Reconstruction.

I'll be very curious is Clinton continues to give her very expensive speeches going forward. Without the possibility of political power there is very little for her to sell now. I really, really doubt the banks and others were paying that much money for her insight.

In honor of the election results we have fried up a plate of chicken livers, are preparing to cook a whole country ham, and I will be assembling a new bbq grill today.
The grill is complete, works, and so far isn't doing anything awkward like exploding so I guess all is well. It came in eighty seven pieces so it might have exploded before they shipped it.

You know what's gross? It's when a cat pukes up a belly full of chicken livers.

You know what's grosser than gross? It's when another cat leaps off a high shelf and wipes out in said chicken liver puke, sending puke flying.

I understand it's supposed to be "humorous". But the same exact thing, I don't know how often I saw it on social media.
What would be so "great" if celebrities, no matter how "evil and liberal" would "leave the US"? What would be in for you? What is the relevancy for your personal life? Seriously asking why this is always shared so enthusiastically by you guys.

They voted in a billionaire who lives in a place that looks like a palace, and flies around in his own private literally gold plated jet, laughs over his ability to con people out of their money, and refuses to pay people for their work. They did this because they believe that he will change the very the system that has kept him rich and allowed him to live an unimaginably privileged life.

They did this because the other option is Hillary. Just ponder that for a second.

Isn't racist to assume Trump called him a thug because of his skin tone?

Yeah I'm not sure if I'm picking up racism in that. It seemed like someone was disrupting his rally so he called them a paid thug, that could be white or black no?

Given how racist Trump really is are there any better examples?
