I've lived and visited different states over the years and seems most states, even counties/cities have different rules or laws when it comes to liquor.
In Connecticut, I couldn't purchase alcohol because i didn't have a Conneticut driver's license. In Dallas, TX, they had dry counties where you couldn't even buy alcohol. If i remember correctly, in Sherman, TX, I had to "purchase" a drinking license/permit to even purchase alcohol in a Chili's restaurant. In Georgia, I was driving through and spent a sunday night at a hotel and the liquor store didn't sell alcohol on Sunday's. The guy even commented to us, "This is the Bible Belt, son".
