At this point he should gracefully throw in the towel and let Clinton focus on the general election. He is not going to win, at least he could drop out and step aside.

But California! He's got money for the long haul and IF something should happen to Hillary, he's still there.

I think it would be neat if Hillary got charged and Sanders won the nom as a result. But you don't get that big without more or less becoming impervious to the law. :(

He's not going to get the nomination, but there's no reason to drop out if he's got cash to spend. I don't think anyone would've thought he would get this far when he announced. I'm sure he originally didn't plan on winning.

I think wanting someone who has pulled off so many up sets to throw in the towel early is pretty funny.

There is no reason for Sanders to drop out. HRC's southern state domination is about finished, so Sanders may be able to begin catching up in delegates in the meantime.

Almost all of the rest of the primaries will be proportional.

Yeah, lots of upsets tonight. Sanders is done, raising taxes on everyone 10+% isnt going to sit well with people who actually pay taxes and have to essentially pay child support for kids who aren't even related to them.

When he drops out, I really really hope he endorses Jill Stein. I know it won't happen, but it should.

Bernie was crushed on Tuesday. No point to stay in other than to pee in the pool.

Will he drop out? Who knows, he was never really a dem, he's an army of one ideologue, peddling fantastical policies that will never get any broad support and are unworkable and deceptive as written.

Glad to see enough of the dem electorate is wise to the cliff's edge, whereas the GOP has decided to floor the pedal, take the hands of the wheel and put the fingers up in the air.

Why shouldn't Sanders stay in to accomplish his original goal of spreading leftist ideas? I mean, really it can only help his cause to stay in and get free media coverage of his ideas.

Bernie should definitely stay in to spread his ideas. It will help set up politics going forward, and the 2020 election. After the convention he'll support HRC which will mean an easy Dem win in the general election and a prominent spot for Bernie on her staff. Smart all around.

He never ever had a chance due to the cheating superdelegates rules. Hillary was preordained.

Unless the superdelegates vote for Sanders (they haven't voted yet) or the voters themselves are at least 58.8% Sanders (in which case the Superdelegates are overridden).

Yeh, just like the superdelegates stole the nom from Obama in 2008.

Righties do love their bullshit.
