Did you bother checking with the Arabs if they want to buy Israeli technology, or whether they just want their Muslim lands back?

Absolutely the perfect way to phrase the question Sammy if you want to prove you are a fool.

Of course the Arabs and the Pals want their stolen lands back, as you somewhat imply it should come at a price.

But your big mistake is to assume, Israeli technology should only be sold when it should be freely shared.

Which is not to imply Israel should sell manufactured goods at a loss, but still good technological ideas and mutual interstate co-operation costs nothing and can only pay future dividends that will enrich all nations in the mid-east region.

Israel is not alone in the mid-east, all the nations in the region share one over riding problem, not enough water, and no means to transport it across national boundaries. To some extent, Egypt with its recently completed Aswan dam could be the go to nation. And Iran with unlimited peace time nuclear power, could power many desalination plants.

Right now in the Mid-east, the best engineering Talent is in Israel. International co-operation always beats the hell out of killing each other. Which does not even address future green technologies like wind and solar.

I want what you are smoking!!!!! There is noway on earth that any if Israel was to sell any of their technology to the Arabs that it would not be used against them!!

Fear & loathing are killing your mind. Advanced technologies in wind & solar power, desalinization, irrigation & medicine are not weapons.

The problem you have is that you and LL believe that thr Arabs would accept help from israel in terms of anything you mentioned.....

Not help- business. Israel cuts herself off from potential markets by refusing to deal constructively with the Pals & their neighbors.

She also threatens to cut her own nose off to spite her face in attacking Iran against American wishes. $3B in US military aid for 2012 is nothing to sneeze at- that's $375K for every Israeli citizen...

I figure we should just keep it anyway, reducing the likelihood of our Israeli friends attacking anybody.

If the Obama Admin proposed giving away $375K apiece to 8M American citizens, we'd be peeling your Neocon pals off the ceiling...

So instead Israel stays stuck on stupid, and treats its Arab neighbors with fear and hostility. Under the assumption that nothing good for its Arab neighbors will also be good for Israel.

As Israel only creates a self fulfilling prophesy that can only result in its own doom.

Holy cow! That's a lot of money! I can't imagine anyone else in the world spends anywhere near that much money per capita on defense! :whiste:

I really think 1/3 of americans alive today will be murdered by a government within the next 4 years. I'll probably be one of them and they damn well better not honor me at any national or international memorial.

Just curious, what will you do when this doesn't happen?

Against America`s wishes??? Please link to support your mis guided opinion....

Wait a sec, $3 billion divided by 7.8 million citizens is about $375 per citizen, not $375K. Still a lot.

Nobody but the US spends that much on somebody else's military, bet on that.

It's not like Israel is the 51st state. If they were, they'd have to do things differently. We shouldn't pretend that they are.

3 thousand million divided by 8 million is 375 thousand...

Oh boy.

Let's take 8 million.

Times 3.75, let's call it about 30 million.

Times 10 is 300 million.

Times 10 is 3,000 million or 3 billion.

So we have 3.75 times 10 times 10. That's 375. Not 375K.

Regardless of that, these $3B is probably the most effective expenditure the US foreign budget has. Sure as hell beats paying for bases all around the world.

Not when it's used against our interests, or when it's obtained by domestic political extortion.

The US military aid to Israel is basically a subsidy to our defense industry. All the money comes back to buy weapons and the Israelis agree not to compete with our defense contractors for certain products.

Most retarded theory if I ever heard.

Israel can't go into Iran with out the US nod of approval, and if the US okay the bombing it would be an international diplomatic nightmare since China and Russia aren't on the same path.

It is impossible for Israel to go alone on the mission, because it will need to refuel its planes and have to cross Iraq/US air space, hence the US will know what the Zionists are up to.

One more factor is that the current situation in the region (Iraq/Afghanistan and neighbors) aren't exactly stable, therefor any more action may bring forward a regional war or cold war that will destabilize trades.

Now go back to your apathy cave and take your war monger theory with you.

I knew you couldn`t!!

And I knew you couldn't make sense out of any of it. The Obama Admin hasn't made a single peep in terms of the kind of military threats issued during the Bush years. Zero, zip, nothing, nada. If they were in favor, they'd be making the kind of propaganda statements necessary to pave the way for action, but they're not.

Netanyahu & cronies are just running it up the flagpole to see who'll salute, and it's nobody who matters, no matter how loudly they rave. Which means nothing will happen, because even they aren't sufficiently stupid or arrogant enough to think they can go it alone.

The whistling smiley was a link. Look at how much we spend per capita.:biggrin::biggrin:

FWIW in about a month it will be exclusively Iraqi airspace. Not that we left them empty handed.

But they have no ability to stop incursions into their airspace. They could certainly warn the Iranians though, if they didn't hate them so much.

The Iraqi air force also has a wing of F-16s at that base.

In other words, if the Israeli's try to just fly over Iraq, it'll be a cluster fuck of F-16s shooting each other down.

Not that this scenario would ever happen, but the Israeli 16s would own face.
