So, if I told you you had to come to Massachusetts and suck my d*ck before I allowed you to see your dying mother while others abused your other family members and you said No. Would that mean you hate Massachusetts more than your dying Grandma? That's exactly how stupid your analogy is. Sorry everyone else for being so crass.

Her grandmother may pass without them seeing each other. The easy choice would have been to do whatever Israel wanted and see her grandmother. She made a very unselfish choice, to put the needs of those Palestinians, her beliefs above her very understandably human desires... that is strength. I think Tlaib's tweet quoting Desmond Tutu put it best.

I think Tlaib's tweet put it best.
"I am not interested in picking up crumbs of compassion thrown from the table of someone who considers himself my master. I want the full menu of rights." Desmond Tutu

While Nazis can be considered fascists not all fascists are Nazis. Seems to be a fairly easy concept to understand.

Example:

Nazi who is a fascist

fascist who is not a Nazi

View attachment 9671

so how in frack are jews fascist? they arent, you tools just foam at the mouth at anything when it comes to checking your bullshit and throw the fascist label around like a tennis match.

and here is the canadian socialist here to defend his comrade. just like a dog to a dog whistle.

ROFLMFAO

btw, you don't actually have a label that works for me. My belief system incorporates political/social thought that runs from Edmund Burke to John Stewart Mill to the anarcho-syndicalists of 1930's Catalonia. <shrug>

You might ask the Palestinians how they feel about it. And you might want to reference the reality of facts on the ground, of what the Israelis have been doing these last 50 years & more-

I mean, you know, if they're seeking peace why do they keep on taking?

It may be slightly disingenuous (or at least too strong a wording) to say "at Trump's request" based off of that tweet. It's hardly an official request, more of a statement, and the congresswomen would likely have been barred even if Trump had said nothing. But I strongly disagree with Trump and Israel here. For the record, I am largely pro-Israel, but I don't agree that simply being anti-Israel is a valid reason to ban someone from travelling there. If there's reason to believe a person could be a threat that's one thing, but these are elected officials and there's zero chance of that. Strong convictions shouldn't shirk away from opposition.

It's also something of a self own since banning these individuals just reinforces their narrative. If they had been allowed to travel to Israel there's a good chance one of them would make a gaffe or otherwise say something terrible -- or at least something that could easily be taken as such.

Not all Jews are fascist, but compare fascism to Zionism and look at the modern Likud party, and well...walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.

Here's one Jewish guy's opinion about it:

Bill Maher on this whole thing:

"It's a bulls--- purity test, BDS is a bulls--- purity test by people who want to appear 'woke' but actually slept through history class," Maher said, drawing loud cheers from the audience. "It's predicated on this notion ... I think it's very shallow thinking that the Jews in Israel are mostly white and Palestinians are mostly brown, so they must be innocent and correct and the Jews must be wrong. As if the occupation came right out of the blue, that this 'completely peaceful people' found themselves occupied. Forget about the intifadas and the suicide bombings and the rockets and how many wars."

The HBO star quoted BDS movement founder Omar Barghouti, who said, "No Palestinian -- rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian -- will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine."

"So that's where that comes from, this movement. Someone who doesn't even want a Jewish state at all," Maher told the panel. "Somehow this side never gets represented in the American media. It's very odd."

Even liberals are coming around to realizing other liberals are the real racists. They automatically make assumptions about skin color and right or wrong based on that. They ignore the extremist views this movement is based on. And some here seem to ignore that countries have borders that they do and can enforce, as it should be.

Meaningless coming from people that think Trump is a fascist, Hitler reincarnate. Meaningless from the lefties that think the idea of securing a border where we have real issues with illegal crossings, drugs, and human trafficking is racism. All in all, meaningless because liberals have watered down these terms and routinely apply them to everyone that disagrees with their idiotic views.

Again, I disagree. What is the intent of her trip? The Palestinian cause or visit grandma? Seems like her motivations shifted with the narrative. That’s not strength, its political opportunism.

That's bullshit. Tlaib & Omar originally planned to go together. Israel switched the narrative when they offered to let her alone visit her grandmother.

And you fell for it, of course.

You don't even see that your question comes from a very privileged place. What is the intent of any other Congress person when they go to Israel? Does anyone ever ask if their intent is to see their family member? Please reread Desmund Tutu's quote.
