It's ok, I've come to accept that I likely won't ever actually enjoy the taste of beer, although I'm always up for trying new ones whenever I go out and something catches my eye.

In all truthfulness, I don't like the taste of any alcohol other than some wines. Doesn't stop me from drinking it, though. What can I say, I'm a masochist.

Edit: I should clarify, though, that while all beer is "bad" to me in some form, it's definitely not all equally bad. There are some I honestly don't mind drinking, and then there's Colt 45.

thats fair

maybe try some liquor? or at least some vodka in something you already like...

Yep, tried multiple liquors as well, from relatively standard fare (e.g., Absolut, Smirnoff, Stoli, Grey Goose, Crown, Johnnie Walker black, JD, Wild Turkey, Corazon, Don Julio) to some of the nicer stuff out there (mostly for cognacs and whiskeys: Hennessy and Remy XO, a tiny bit of Louis XIII, Jonnie Walker blue), and unfortunately just don't enjoy the taste. I think it's just something about me and alcohol in general.

Again, don't get me wrong, I don't at all mind sipping on a Crown and diet, I just don't do it for the taste.

Yeah. Bad pizza, bad burgers, and bad beer are just that - bad.

fuck dudes you and that other guy, loosen up.

Are you still eating in a public school?

Shit my high school, junior college and beyond never had bad pizza or burgers.

When I say bad I don't mean rotten or expired.

Jeeze- I'm sure it's a bunch of beer snobs adding anything to the list they see common people drinking. I'd be more interested in a list complied by professional brewers.

No. My college had mediocre burgers at best and its pizza was nasty. Bad food just sucks. Why waste time eating stuff that tastes like crap?

Really? I didn't think I could figure that one out 🙄

fuck beer snobs and fuck this list. i like great beer and shitty beer... it's BEER for Christ's sake...

that said, my fav shitty beer is not on this list ()🙂

I'm a beer snob but the top 4 beers are literally always in my fridge and I enjoy drinking them.

though, I'm working on a sixer of this at the moment

Nope, Yuengling is not on the list. Then again, I can't get it here in Texas 🙁

But Shiner Bock isn't there either. 🙂

awesome that Yeungling didn't make their list.

Hells, yeah.

this

its by far my favorite beer in the $10 12-pack category.

I really should get a picture up, but I have a display of over 150 micro brew and imports (not stuff like Heineken and Corona)

Some Great
Jai Alai
400 Pound Monkey
Harpoon Leviathan
Rogue XS Imperial Red Ale
Trois Pistoles

Some to avoid
Monty Pythons Holy Grail Ale (Tempered over burning witches)
Hoss (Rye Lager)
Dragon Stout
Major Toms Pomegranate Wheat Ale

Hells, yeah.

Yeungling is a fine beer, one of my favorites, especially the black and tan variety. When my child went to school in Ithaca I used to load up the trunk with Yeungling on the way back. The only beer is miss more is the old Lenienkuegel's from Wisconsin before they got bought out by a national chain. That was a great "daily" beer.

Ithaca Brewing, OTH, makes a smoked porter that is beer with chemical bacon flavor in it. Truely nasty, threw away 5/6ths of the six pack.

I'm somewhat of a beer snob but I flit from brand to brand. I tend to love one type for a month or so, then not touch it again for years.

That list is 100% bullshit. I've had just about every beer on it, and I can tell you OE 800 is not nearly the worst. They just picked a bunch of random malt liquors and cheap beers.

OE 800 3.2 is on the list. As in the Mormon-neutered version of OE.

If I have to drink something on that list, I drink Miller Lite. But since I live in PA and can get Yuengling for about the same price, I usually get that as my every day cheapo drinking beer. I usually keep some Miller Lite on hand for anyone who wants Lite beer.

It's hard to say, but suffice to say that no matter how good everything may be on a list, there will be the "best" and "worst" on it.

It is not a question of preferences, that is highly subjective, but you can't say that a good aged porterhouse is bad even if you are a vegan. Even though you despise it, there is no arguing that that hunk of flesh is a damn site better than a plate of sliders from White Castle (not saying you would not eat both).

Same with beer. There is no denying that every beer on that list is at the bottom, theough their precise ranking is up for debate.

The only thing I noticed, though, was the lack of failed specialty beers (like some of the Jalepeno lagers and other random oddities). Some that have not lasted definitely beat the pisswater in terms of pain and are curiously missing from here.

I am just dissapointed that there are no really good beer outlets where I live. It costs a fortune to try different stuff these days... 🙁

Cheapo Yueng is the best.

Getting a pint of that for $2 beats a lot of the betters for $5+.

Admittedly, I usually start with the $$$ and use ones like Yueng to last the night.....

If it isn't Guinness, it isn't worth drinking. 😀

Here's my snobbish side coming out....

Guinness is a pretty shitty stout. It's just got a billion dollar marketing campaign behind it. It's not even the best stout in Ireland. There's dozens of other craft stouts I'd drink over Guinness. Their Extra Stout is decent. But the normal stuff is pretty boring for the category.

There are tons of small market crappy 40oz beers out there. For instance, Magnum Malt Liquor down in Louisiana tastes HORRIBLE but I doubt many people have heard of it.

For the record I think Keystone Light and Hurricane High Gravity taste like crap.
