Gore @ Ten or Allen @ Jac in flex? Non PPR

Gore is the safe bet. One analyst said that Jax may try to shut down Allen which could leave other receivers like V.Brown poised for a big day. I think Allen will still get open regardless, but SD could go to the run more since Jax can't stop it. Gore can't be stopped by even a good Run D (AZ), let alone TN. Gore is unstoppable.

Don't they have a bye next week? I don't know why they would play him now. Fitzpatrick isn't horrible.

Yeah, I'm hoping Gore stays with this momentum he's had. Would love to see him get more goal line carries though. Everyone keeps saying, "Kap should run more...why aren't they running pistol formations like last year???", but I love the fact that Kap's not running. I'd probably start benching Gore if Kap goes back to running the ball.

Gore is a great RB. They need to use him more and when they do, the results are usually good.

Agreed. I love Gore for the simple fact that he stood up for himself to Harbaugh and got the play time he deserved as a result. Prior to that, I was strongly considering trading him away.

Brandon Jacobs now looking like a game time decision - owners might want to sit him for any safer option.

If he doesn't play it will be Cox, Hillis, and possibly Conner in the backfield.

I still think Hillis is worth a speculative add. It's easy to dismiss him, but his career didn't take a nosedive because of atrocious playing, but a combination of bad luck with management and the teams he has been on (how well did replacing him with Trent Richardson work out for the Browns?), injuries, and a lack of playing time. Hillis could potentially be an RB2 at the very least for fantasy if he plays and plays well this week, at least until the return of Andre Brown.

Not suggesting anyone expect him to be Adrian Peterson out there, but putting up a 100 yard game like Jacobs did is well within the realm of possibility.

Pick one WR

Terrance Williams, Aaron Dobson, Kenbrell Thompkins, Austin Pettis.

Im pretty sure i've narrowed it down to the first 2.

Either Dobson or Kenbrell since the Jets will stuff the run and force Brady to throw. I'm not a fan of Dobson at all because he's a drop machine, so Kenbrell (who is more of a red zone threat anyway).

Williams. Not big on either Pats WR, too inconsistent especially if Gronk plays.
It can be argued that Gronk could open up the field for other receivers, especially deep threats. Regarding Williams, I don't like the split with Austin but Romo seems to like him so maybe he'll get more looks than last week, especially after that great TD. Maybe they use him more in the red zone this week, we'll see.

That's true about Gronk, but two other things bother me about the other receivers there:

First, Gronk is THE red zone guy for Brady. He is far more likely to get a touchdown than anyone else if he takes the field. Even if he does command attention from the defense and allows Thompkins and Dobson to get more yards, he'll take the end zone looks away from them.

Second, how do you decide which of Thompkins or Dobson to start? Both have been wildly inconsistent and have committed many drops. Part of their value comes from volume, and with Gronk back, there will be less volume and you have no way of knowing who will suffer the most and who will benefit. I think Dobson played the most snaps last week but he's also been the least effective.

With Williams, you get a better matchup and you know that he'll get targets.

It sounds like the Cowboys want to start moving away from Austin as their third receiving option, too, and Williams has been effective enough. If there's ever a perfect week to start him it would be this week against the Eagles.

Thoughts on Gronk playing? He is cleared and traveled but is he going to play?

I bet he does and all indications thus far have been that he was waiting for clearance from his own doctor, so I'd play him. If you have the luxury of checking team news until a few minutes before kickoff, I'd do that, though you never really know with all the games the Patriots play.

Luck or Foles?

Prob Luck.. DEN rush D is very stout so Indy is gonna have to throw a lot to keep up the scoring. However, Dallas entire D is banged up so i can see Philly scoring a lot too. Only team to go over 400yd of total offense in every game
