Generally yes but it all depends on your leagues point settings.

You can't forget that Jimmy Graham did get as many points as top wide receivers in 2011 and if healthy he could easily do it again this year.

Also with Sean Peyton back, I think he will put even more than in 2011.

Keeping my eye on some of the eagles. Hopefully chip kelly's offense works in the reg season

RB Depth this year is really really shallow. There's a big dropoff between the top 10 and all the rest. Unless you're picking in late position in 1st round, you probably want to grab a RB first. I'd say this year order of depth (from least to greatest) is:
RB
WR
QB

There are so many solid QBs available that, unless you want to pick up Brees, Rogers or Peyton, there isn't that much of a dropoff going from Tier 1 to Tier 2-3. I mean, I'd be happy picking up Luck, Romo, Kaep, RGIII, Newton, Wilson, Brady, or Dalton...

Just my thoughts.

My 2 favorite wide recievers going too late in every draft are Kenbrell Thompkins and TY Hilton. Both guys will most likely give you WR2 stats barring injury.

No doubt with Hilton though I am interested in seeing how much the Colts plan on using Darrius Heyward-Bey. He was obviously a bust for the Raiders but could turn it around.

He wasn't a bust for the raiders, everyone knew he wasn't good besides Al Davis. It was just a retarded pick. The guy can't catch, can't run a good route and can't stay healthy. He will probably be injured or cut by the end of the season. At best he is a 4th wide receiver.

Its more like

RB
RB
WR
WR
RB/WR
QB in round 5-8 along with TE and another RB/WR

I am going to wait until at least round 5 if not 6 or 7 for a QB

Sat in with a buddy during his draft and it's almost exactly how it went. It was a keeper league so he kept an RB and a WR. He picked RB, RB, WR, WR, QB. The QB was picked up in the 7th round and he still got luck. I'm thinking of doing the same with my keeper league but I get to keep two top 10 rbs

What ever you do, don't listen to Imported

TE is the least important skill position in Fantasy Football. IN order of importance:

RB
WR
QB
TE

we've had years where TE and WR/RB were running even. Hell, you can't even possibly tell me that over the last 2-3 years, guys like Gronkowski weren't putting up equal numbers to any wide receiver not named Calvin Johnson--and oftentimes more consistent than all but the top 5 or 8 RBs.

Well, of course you would probably tell me that, but you would be wrong.

Before Gates got too old and slow, He would be a consistent 2nd or 3rd pick out of either WR or TE positions (combined).

Brees in the second round is LOL. I love when defenses are going off the board in round 9. That shit is hilarious. Kicker should be last pick. Dst should be in the bottom 3-4 rounds at best and more like round 15

Not bad, though I am not very big on the Amendola hype. I would not have bothered drafting Jay Cutler with Tom Brady as my starter. You can always get a QB off the waiver wire for the bye week.

You are pretty weak at WR though grabbing Jimmy Graham at 30 is a great deal. Hopefully one of your bench wide receivers will rise up as I don't have much faith in Nicks.

Tony Romo is going to drive you up the wall at times so get ready for that.

My draft, 10 team 1 ppr league. Passing TD are 4 points
QB, 2xRB, 3xWR, TE, K, DST, 7xBN

QB - Eli Manning, Josh Freeman
RB - Marshawn Lynch, Chris Johnson, David Wilson, Eddie Lacy, Bryce Brown
WR - A.J. Green, Victor Cruz, Wes Welker, Jordy Nelson, Tavon Austin, Sidney Rice
TE - Owen Daniels
DST - Atlanta
K - David Akers

Nothing really stands out as "WOW" but it is ok for right now.

Obviously I kind of got hosed at QB but this is a ppr league. As long as Eli is competent I should be a contender.

Looking for advice. In a keeper league, i'm keeping AP and Trent Richardson. I have the 9th overall pick in a snaking draft (12 teams). I'll most likely have the opportunity to pick up Tom Brady but i'm wondering if I should pick up a WR first since WR skill falls off more than QB. Even if I don't pick up Brady I'm thinking i'd have a good shot of picking up Romo, Kaep, Wilson, Luck, Flacco etc. etc. WR's I'm not so sure how big the depth is going to be. Thoughts?

Qb's putting up numbers can be had in later rounds. I'd say grab some solid WR action and wait until round 6 or 7 to get a QB, depending on whats left of course.

Feeling happy with mine today.

QB - Andrew Luck
RB - Marshawn Lynch
RB - Alfred Morries
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Andre Johnson
TE - Brandon Myers
W/R - Reggie Bush
BN - Andre Brown
BN - Ryan Mathews
BN - David Wilson
BN - Antonio Brown
BN - Eric Decker
BN - Jermain Gresham
K - Phil Dawson
DEF - Cardinals

Almost felt like a steal picking up so many RB's and WR's.

10 teams, and yes noobs. I haven't done fantasy in 3 years, because its not very compatible with working in bars all weekend long every weekend.

I figured a coworker league for fun would be a good way to get back into it without investing too much time. I feel like I'll destroy everyone.

Yeah if Andrew Luck has a decent season your team is easily playoff bound.

That "grade" is such bullshit. The highest grades go to autopicked teams, because they match the ADP of yahoo and projected points based on numbers from last year. So if you take a rookie, you automatically get knocked down for it.

Exactly, the two people who autopicked got the highest grade wither their backup kickers and defenses while I got a C-.

If you want to have your team rated I would check this site out. It is much more in depth and accurate:
