Was able to draft yesterday and I didn't even need my brother's wireless access point

how do you guys think I did in my ppr league?

DIRTY SANCHEZ
9 Trent Richardson, Cle RB
16 Chris Johnson, Ten RB
33 DeMarco Murray, Dal RB
40 Larry Fitzgerald, Ari WR
57 DeSean Jackson, Phi WR
64 Pierre Garcon, Wsh WR
81 Michael Vick, Phi QB
88 Jermichael Finley, GB TE
105 Kenbrell Thompkins, NE WR
112 Bengals D/ST D/ST
129 Jordan Cameron, Cle TE
136 Christine Michael, Sea RB
153 Carson Palmer, Ari QB
160 Cordarrelle Patterson, Min WR
177 Joique Bell, Det RB
184 Dan Bailey, Dal K

Going all in with Chip Kelly's eagles. Boom or bust for me this year

I like your team. You got great value with Larry at the 40th pick, he should bounce back. Jackson and Garcon are decent #2 options, kind of a reach for Jackson but I can see why. Nice pickup with Thompkins as he has been climbing up the charts.

3 good running backs so you are solid there. Dropoff in RB depth after Murray but who cares, nothing some waiver wire hawking can't fix if its even needed.

I'm not a big fan of Jermichael Finley but Jordan Cameron could turn out to be your ace in the sleeve.

If the Vick gamble pays off and/or Palmer turns out to be competent I see playoffs easy.

Did my keeper league draft. I'm weak at WR and my fatal flaw I think was drafting Kaepernick a bit too early. I thought there'd be a run on QB but it turns out I could've picked Romo 1 or 2 rounds later and could've gotten a better WR at that spot. My bench is all sleepers or handcuffs. At least one of them might deliver right? right? :p

QB- Kaepernick
RB - Adrian Peterson
RB - Trent Richardson
RB/WR - David Wilson
WR - Marques Colston
WR - James Jones
WR - Tavon Austin
WR/TE - Kenny Britt
TE - Jared Cook

Bench - Rueben Randle
Bench - Justin Forsett
Bench - Aaron Dobson
Bench - Sam Bradford
Bench - DuJuan Harris

I hate the new Yahoo fantasy webpage redesign. It moves so slowly on my phone (SGS4) using chrome

It is taking me a little while to get used to it but Yahoo did need an overhaul, CBS and ESPN have been making Yahoo's interface look like crap for years.

I actually liked the simplicity of yahoo's page. I also think they have the best pages for individual players.

I drafted two teams over the weekend with a 3rd draft tomorrow. Here is one of the drafts:

Drafted in the 5th spot, 18 rounds as we start two flex spots and an extra BE:

Doug Martin RB
Alfred Morris RB
Julio Jones WR
Andre Johnson WR
David Wilson RB
Victor Cruz WR
Robert Griffin III QB
Ahmad Bradshaw RB
Pierre Garcon WR
Andrew Luck QB
Owen Daniels TE
Andre Brown RB
Brandon Myers TE
Ronnie Hillman RB
Vincent Brown WR
Le'Veon Bell RB
Bengals D/ST D/ST
Matt Prater K

A lot of you will ask how Morris was still on the board, the answer is that everyone took a run at QB's early - buncha n00bs took Rodgers, Brees and Brady - meanwhile I got RG3 in the 7th and Andrew Luck in the 10th. LOLOLOL

How many teams in that league? That team looks beastly, Cruz in the 6th round is just silly.

There's an interesting article here about how the most popular sites rank players and using that to get steals. Maybe the best example is how low Reggie Bush is rated in ESPN leagues, and how low Lamar Miller and Darren Sproles are rated in Yahoo. I was able to get Sproles in the 5th round of a Yahoo draft last night, as a flex starter.

Yeah I noticed in Yahoo that Kaepernick and Wilson seemed listed a tad early but they did drop in both drafts I were in. I disagree with their opinion of Yahoo and Chris Ivory though. Yeah Ivory could be a good #2 but his injury history is built into the rank.

Sproles is too low in Yahoo. I don't buy Sean Payton pushing for a more traditional "pound the rock" approach, Round 5 is a steal especially in a ppr league.

My auction draft. I went a little different this year and paid good money for a couple of studs. I made a couple of bad auction plays and got weak on WR:
QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - Adrian Peterson
RB - Frank Gore
WR - Wes Welker
WR - Torrey Smith
WR - Greg Jennings
TE - Fred Davis
FLEX - Ronnie Hillman/Montee Ball (I have both)
D/ST - Broncos
K - Josh Brown

Bench - Denarius Moore
Bench - Bryce Brown
Bench - Rueben Randle
Bench - Tyler Eifert

I think this year overall I def had a weaker draft than last year. I was able to get a lot of value in the auction last year but still lost out due to injury (As my starters last year I had Brees, Richardson, Lynch, James Jones, Harvin, Stevie Johnson, Amendola, heath miller). I took a balls to the wall approach this year and may have suffered but recognize that fantasy is a lot of luck. Sooo.. F it.

You should be happy. He weakened his team for the entire year. Not only does he now have to get a 3rd QB for a bye week, but he also is missing another position player that would have impact.

5th spot tends to be the worst drafting spot...unless children are involved in your draft like this guy.

Here is my current dynasty roster...no depth at RB and my WR core seems shaky. With Pitta being hurt I'm also short a TE...sigh...from second place last year (fuck you Lynch) to probably a mediocre year this year. At least I got solid starters....trying to figure out a trade or 2

Drew Brees(NO - QB)
Eric Decker(Den - WR)
Mike Wallace(Mia - WR)
Cecil Shorts(Jac - WR)
Jamaal Charles(KC - RB)
Trent Richardson(Cle - RB)
Dennis Pitta(Bal - TE)
Sidney Rice(Sea - WR)
Brandon Pettigrew(Det - TE)
Larry Fitzgerald(Ari - WR)
Andrew Luck(Ind - QB)
Mikel Leshoure(Det - RB)
Daryl Richardson(StL - RB)
Brandon LaFell(Car - WR)
Brian Quick (StL - WR)
Stephen Gostkowski(NE - K)
Greg Zuerlein(STL - K)
Vincent Brown(SD - WR)

I have 2 drafts tonight. Any recommendations on position ranking sites? I'm not really back in the football mindset yet, so this is going to take some research.

yeah, but now he can probably sucker some better player off of someone that needs a QB...unless the league is already stacked
