wtf...are there 3 people in this draft?

Yes because that is a thing, a 3 person draft

I've been in a 6 team draft before for money and the teams look completely ridiculous. Much more so than this team.

How many teams in that league? That team looks beastly, Cruz in the 6th round is just silly.

10 team league, it was indeed beastly which is why i posted it. This is just a prize eligible league on ESPN that I randomly joined and all 10 people were drafting. I was amazed at how many people were passed up, but with a team like this I am destined to lose.

I picked 7th in a 12 man draft earlier this week - Non PPR...

Ended up with this:

7) doug martin
18) leshawn mccoy
31) demaryius thomas
42) victor cruz
55) james jones
66) Bob III
79) Deangelo Williams
90) Owen Daniels
103) Andre Brown
114) Kenbrell Thomkins
127) Matt Schaub
138) Bengals Def
- Seabass - K

I'm fairly happy with the picks. Decent depth at all positions and was very surprised at the RB's that fell into my lap. I'm going to have a feast or famine team though. I'll either put up 50 points or 200.

Was not expecting the Muscle Hampster to fall to 7 (to be honest I'm not buying him at anything under that either)...but definitely was not expecting Shady McCoy to fall that far down.

Why you should draft Arian Foster first over Adrian Peterson.

Code:
Year	RB POS	FFPs	GP	TD
Adrian Peterson
	2010	3	241.9	15	12
	2011	8	189.2	12	12
	2012	1	309.4	16	12
AVG 246.8333333	14.33333333	12
Arian Foster
	2010	1	329.8	16	16
	2011	4	256.1	13	10
	2012	2	264.8	16	15
AVG 283.5666667	15	13.66666667

Averaged 1.6 more TD's a year the last 3 years and 37 more points

And Fosters best year (2010) was 20 pts better than Peterson's best year last year

well, it can exist. I know a guy that one year ran a 2-person league with just himself and his buddy--I think they had 4 players at each offensive position, and 2 or 3 defenses starting. lol.

Your team looks like this guy's team that year.

I'd take AP over Foster considering Foster's injury risk right now.

Naw. He is no risk. He has these issues every year and will be fine IMO.

I don't think AP can duplicate his year last year. I don't know how he did it with that offense there in Minn but at least he had Percy Harvin at the beginning of the year as the only other offensive threat. Defenses in the NFC north will have learned and punish AP this year

Thanks Doctor. Should I pick up Stewart as well?

Why would you do that? He hasn't been productive even in the years he was healthy.

DeAng as a late pick is good though

I'm being quite sarcastic and would never follow your advice.

I live in Houston, and hear more about Foster than you do. Also quite a bit about Tate's involvement in the back field. I don't expect AP to perform as well as last year, but I don't expect AF to perform as he has either.

I didn't post it for you. I posted only facts and my opinion as to why you should draft AF over AP. The facts hold up against my opinion.

The truth is that you should probably stay away from both of them as a top 2 pick, but who else are you going to take? You have to take one or the other, and with me I have the 2nd overall tonight and I know AP is going #1 overall. I believe I have to take Foster with my #2 pick. Who else is even an option? Marshawn Lynch? Ray Rice? No way on Ray Rice with that depleted Ravens offense.

If you were getting 2010 Arian Foster, I'd agree

I will add that drafting Tate is an absolute MUST handcuff though, no doubt. As long as I handcuff him though, I think it will work out

And this is why you don't listen to AMDZen about football - fantasy, or real.

Ravens, Falcons. They are easy to confuse. They're both scavenging dinosaur remnants that I like to shoot out of the air. Birds are loud noisy assholes

You could go to jail for shooting a falcon, douche.

also: Ravens are scavengers, Falcons hunt.

...Bald Eagles are also scavengers. (now, shooting one of those, on the other hand, could land you in FPMITAP)

I weep if you are easily confused when seeing a raven vs a falcon. ...yes, I realize you are likely being facetious, but I don't care. :colbert:

Who do you guys think has the best team in my league? I'm spot nine.

Not you. You're short at least one RB. Why did you take Fred Davis so damn early? He's like a 12th round pick. You passed on Shane Vereen, Giovani Bernard, and Ahmad Bradshaw to get him. When DeMarco goes down again you'll be screwed.

Also jesus christ khanh, get it together.

Yeah, I know, as soon as Harvin went down, teams really started stacking the box and totally reduced AP's effectiveness.

Oh wait, that's exactly the opposite of what happened. AP was averaging about 100 yards per game WITH Harvin, and then went beast mode and averaged over 160 yards a game WITHOUT him.

Expert analysis there champ.

As a vikings fan AMDzen has literally no clue what he is talking about. All Days meteoric rise took off AFTER Harvin got injured.
