Manning should get you a solid WR1 and RB2 two for one IMHO. Some folks are really into QBs so target one that has a lower end one or a bye coming up or deep bench at RB.
The owner stacked at RB or WR likely has a lower end QB, go find him and/or go back to your draft results to target.
Browns is a good play.
yeah, that's what I've been looking over for some time now--this trade has been stewing in my head for the last 2--3 weeks, really, after I had a pretty good week one but still got my butt kicked. The writing was on the wall that I needed to get something for Peyton.
So, there are a few possible teams with this exact situation
the other option I have been looking at in the league:
Team 2:
his QB Romo
RB: Foster
WRs: Dez, Nicks, Antonio Brown
Team 3:
his QB: Russell Wilson
RB: Peterson
WRs: D Thomas, B Marshal, Greg Jennings
Just offered this trade today, because my team sucks donkeyholes:
I give up:
P Manning
Deangelo Williams
I get:
M Lynch
Dwayne Bowe
I have Rivers to fill in for Manning.
My RBs: CJ Spiller (LOL) and D Williams;
WO: Andre Johnson (made of tinker toys) and James Jones.
He has Stafford (not too shabby, but Manning is a real improvement) and Reggie Bush to fill in for Lynch.
...Am I insane?
basically, my team outside of Manning is mostly donuts each week, so something has to happen.
What's everyone's opinion on picking up either Harvin or Crabtree to stash in their bench until they return?

Harvin is definitely worth the slot. I'm sure you have a WR or low end RB that you never use and can pick up again. If he comes back even 80% of what he was after week 10 that gives you 6+ weeks of pretty quality output.
Hoyer is injured on the first drive. Hope noone started him!
That's what I was thinking. I picked up Bills earlier this week but started thinking that Browns will be a better pick. So going to drop Bills and pick up Browns.
Ouch, I was extremely close to picking him up and starting him tonight but grabbed Pryor instead.
Players on thursday night games are tough starts unless they are true studs, like running backs.

I did. Picked him up earlier today and slotted him place for Matt Schaub who was going up against San Fran. RGIII is on bye this week.
Bleh. Also played Clevelands defense.
Yay.
Man, that's crazy. Peyton is the best QB and Lynch is barely a #5 back. You couldn't trade someone Rivers who's weak at QB for a decent RB?
Edit: Who is Team #3's #2 RB? Offer Rivers for them, I bet they're getting sick and tired and Russell wilson to produce.

I'd go after Team 2 and try to get foster and dez, do it after PFM kills it this week. Nicks is worthless.
Bilal Powell?
lulz.
well, I cancelled the trade pending for Lynch. I definitely don't think he's a #5 back out there, but I will see if I can get more, and maybe deal Rivers (my week 1 waiver pickup).
This is a 14 team league so the pickings are pretty slim after week one.

LOL, I can't drop anybody. 5 bench slots.
RB - Joique Bell
RG3
WR - T.Y. Hilton
Rob Gronkowski
RB - Ben Tate
