If you're comfortable at WR, maybe, but I think you're giving up more value. Dez and Charles are both studs, equal value imo. Miller is a player but unfortunately is sharing carries.

Agreed, Dez is just a little too good to also have to throw in Miller. If it was a guy just a half tier below Dez, like BMarsh or something, it would be a great trade. Also greatly depends on your RB and WR situation. In general, I think it's a good idea to make 2-for-1 trades to strengthen your starting lineup and worry about bye weeks later.

So the gf offered me a straight up trade this morning. I get Giovani Bernard, she gets DeMarco Murray. What say you?

Why in the hell does that guy still have Chris Ivory? lmao. That pretty much ensures he wouldn't let DMC go. I would go for a Phillip Rivers for Megatron. He will most likely balk and offer Cruz instead, but it never hurts to aim high. The worst he could say is to go f yourself! If you don't want to roll the die on Ray Rice or Gore (Gore would still would be a fair trade although he would be less likely to accept than Rice), then go for Cruz. You have a lot of options here since you drafted well.

yeah, I have no idea. He might be AWOL for all I know (most of this league is on the other coast and I don't know half of them, but the league is going on 8 years now).

But that's a good call--Rivers for Megatron. We'll see if he's paying attention.

I was looking at Gore--but not convinced that the owner would accept Rivers for him. I am also not willing to risk things with Ray Rice at the moment. I sure felt that I drafted well....before week 1. But goddamn you CJ Spiller!

In my league, Yahoo is projecting Murray for 228 more points on the year, Bernard 124 if that answers your question. Now Murray is an injury risk but at pure face value she's getting 2X the value!

Bad trade, she should throw in someone else.

In general you should be trying to upgrade your players through 2-for-1 deals rather than downgrading them for depth. Too much depth doesn't help you at all; you end up with a bunch of points sitting on the bench.

What's the deal with Robert woods of the bills?

I used him last night. Bye week plug n play. He was most targeted. Stevie is out for a little. So thats plus. But now all the defensive pressure is covering him. Then EJ is out so that pretty sour for him.

He has been quietly seeing a lot of targets. Might be worth it to keep him a little.

I tend to agree. Bernard is supposed to be THE GUY this year, but he hasn't broke out yet. I did counter her offer with Murray for Bernard if she gave me Graham for Gronk or Bennett too. She said no, and thinks I'm low balling her. I told her the low balling would come later tonight...HEY O!

a) Murray has already scored 22% more points (55 to 45 in my league).
b) Murray is projected to score 100% more points over the rest of the season.
c) Law Firm is still splitting carries for the rest of the season with Bernard, while Murray has the bulk of his team's carries.
d) Tell her she needs to give up ITB and then you'll do the trade! ;)

Does that come with a complimentary blow job each week of the season? If so then I would do the deal...if not...bad deal.

Just FYI, if you can get Graham do it. He's currently outscoring EVERY non-QB in fantasy - yes, including Adrian Peterson. Murray for Bernard+Graham is blatant trade rape. Murray for Bernard+Bennett seems pretty even, although you can probably get a decent replacement TE on waivers (Fleener, Clay).

Projections shmojections. I don't think anyone "projected" C.J. Spiller to have far fewer fantasy points than Fred Jackson this year but there you go.

Murray is great and definitely worth more than Giovani, but that gap will close as the season wears on. BJGE's carries have been decreasing each game, and at this point he's basically the guy who runs the ball when the Bengals are in the lead in the 4th quarter. Last game, Gio was on the field for 50 snaps to BJGE's 18.

Rookie WR but he has been very developed. Pre-draft all I heard about was that he wasn't a super fast guy, but he ran good routes and was able to get open that way. They have a rookie QB as well so it's good to have a couple of receivers who don't make mistakes to help him out. Imagine someone super raw like Kenbrell Thompkins with a rookie QB throwing to him. It wouldn't work.

Unfortunately, with EJ out for several weeks, that hurts Woods' value. I'm still stashing him where I can, but I'm tempering expectations.

Oh and a couple pieces of fantasy-relevant news from today: Stevan Ridley has been ruled out for the Patriots' week 5 game, and Brandon Bolden is apparently limping around as well, so LeGarrette Blount is the hot RB pickup of the day. Gronk is supposedly very unlikely to play, so make plans (again). And Roddy White aggravated his ankle injury so you'll have to plan not to start him either.

not sure why everyone is so scared of Rivers. I've been trying like hell to get him in my league.

You gotta remember, Rivers had a 3 year stretch from 2008 to 2010:
4009 yards, 34TD 11 INT
4254 yards, 28TD 9 INT
4710 yards, 30TD 13 INT

Those are really good numbers. Like, top 5 QB type numbers. He started sucking in 2011 and 2012, after Sproles and VJax left and Norv Turner fucked everything up. Rivers didnt just magically forget how to play well. I'm all in on Rivers. He was the 5th ranked QB after that 2010 season, and right now he's playing like a top 3.

All of this. I picked him up in 3 of my leagues. 2 of them just to fill in for Rodgers but the 3rd one I'm replacing Newton with him as my weekly starter.

Should I offer dez Bryant and Lamar Miller for jamal Charles?

Post your lineup. When it involves a top 3 WR and a top 3 RB, post the lineup. Personally, I value a RB1 a little higher than a WR1. Your trade seems fine but there may be something worth a little less value than Miller you may bargain with. Also, if you offer a lesser deal and it is turned down, you could always then offer this as you seem willing to now.

Amendola is also questionable and "may" start. All you Edelmen owners like me should pay attention. Am I right to pull Edelmen if Amendola does start? He's been a pretty solid WR3 even in non-ppr.

Does Edleman have the most catches this year?

something like 25 catches on....30 yards? :D

I knew he had a weird stat like that the other day.

He's ppr gold. But this is standard. He's really Brady's only consistent target till amendola gets back. And I've got GRONK on my bench.

GRONK isn't playing. Amendola is likely start, but I don't have him. You never know with belicheat

depends what your options are but I'm not sure I'd start edelman in a standard league if amendola is back. they are still limited with options and edelman will still get playing time and targets, but it's a dicey play. again, depends on other options

OK I am a bit undecided :

Pick two :

Chris Johnson
DeMarco Murray
David Wilson

And two here:

Brandon Marshall
Jordy Nelson
Roddy White
Hakeem Knicks

I think the wide outs are obvious. Bmarsh and Jordy but I feel like Hakeem could go off. Where I'm truly undecided is on my running backs

I have a feeling this could be Wilson's week

Oh yeah and what do u guys think on TE, Keller or Fleener ¿

I released Daryl Richardson and picked up LeGarrette Blount this week. Let's see if I can pull this off with Peterson and Garcon on bye:

Me: Stafford, Blount, Miller, Fitzgerald, Gordon, Graham, Tucker, Browns
Him: Rivers, Lynch, McCoy, James Jones, Demaryius Thomas, Olsen, Hartley, Patriots

The Browns D have given me a puncher's chance.

When this week started, my lineup was: Luck, Miller, Tate, Fitzgerald, Gordon, Graham, Tucker, Cowboys. I had to spend $15 to make the moves, but I think it was worth it.
