I still can't believe how high a lot of people were on Atlanta and Huston before the season started and look at them now. Has there even been such a fall from grace or atleast from hype?
Eh, I felt at best Bills were going to MAYBE make a wild card, same with the Giants, Chicago and Tampa. The Ravens I felt most people knew they were going to decline. I just read a lot of people having the Falcons and Texans as possible SB teams. The Bills. They were the team to watch this season.
The Giants.
Baltimore?
Chicago.
Tampa fell pretty hard.
Their drafting has been awful since inceptions. How many awful QBs have they acquired and then stuck with?
Kubiak hasn't done much to help either though.
I think I had the Texans in the SB (I'd have to find that thread here).. so ouch.
Edit: Had 49ers over Bengals. I still have a chance!
I think that's definitely possible. I see the Niners winning a close one, though. Their skill players are back, and Crabtree looked pretty good last week.
I see Seattle coming out flat after this week, though. It is a huge game for both teams. But it's more important for SF, who still needs a playoff spot.
What's funny is that the Jaguars are technically still in the playoff hunt. Of course they need a ton of things to go right for them including winning out.
Jesus christ. Sometimes fans are stupid. Seattle fans fronted $2k to fly a banner over Candlestick this Sunday.. and a group of 49er fans have started a fund to put a billboard outside Century Link asking how many Lombardi trophies they have.
So countdown to Shanahan's firing starts now?
ESPN's Dan Graziano reports a "disillusioned" Mike Shanahan cleaned out his office before last January's Wild Card playoff game between the Redskins and Seahawks due to frustration with Dan Snyder and Robert Griffin III's relationship.
Shanahan reportedly "grew tired" of the way Snyder "empowered" Griffin, creating an environment Shanny didn't believe was "conducive to winning" and a team concept. Shanahan "did not blame" RG3, rather he did Snyder, and later changed his mind when Griffin suffered his ACL and LCL tears against Seattle, believing "leaving at that point was no longer an option." The Redskins issued a statement Sunday describing Graziano's story as "ridiculous." Some close to Shanahan believe the longtime NFL coach may be willing to walk away this offseason. Snyder could also fire him.
thats a horrid call in the bengals game
What is going on with these reviews? This is at least the 5th blown review.
Yeah it makes no sense b/c there was no overwhelming evidence that BJE was NOT touched and tripped, so the original call (no TD) should have stood.
