The Giants have won super bowls with 9-7 records. Eli is neither Peyton nor Tom. In fact, he's mediocre most of the time. It's about about getting hot in the playoffs and the big game. The Ravens did it with Joe last year. So as a fan you do what you do to get your team over the hump, do a little dance, eat some quinoa burger, or stay in your basement.

I think they have only really been out of one game this year, every other one was very winnable and usually lost because of mental breakdowns on the Lions part. I still think this a better team than the 91 Lions that went 12-4 and actually won a playoff game.

I think that's definitely possible. I see the Niners winning a close one, though. Their skill players are back, and Crabtree looked pretty good last week.

I see Seattle coming out flat after this week, though. It is a huge game for both teams. But it's more important for SF, who still needs a playoff spot.

You're right, I came to find out that I'm a fan of class, perseverance, honesty and a bunch of other qualities that made me a fan of Alex Smith in the first place. A lot of those qualities left with him to KC.

Hey, I also think Smith got a raw deal, think Kaeperhole is a major dillweed, and am glad to see Smith's Cheif's doing better than the Niners this year.
