Surprised Shanahan still has a job today. I don't think he's mishandled RG3 at all like others seem to think, I just think he's a bad coach.
pretty much. Not sure I know any other beloved patriot fans that actually like(d) Shanahan, anyway. Would be news to me.
However, I do think he mishandled him in the wildcard game last year, as well as his return this year. ....assuming he was making those decisions. He would have to be, right? Snyder is horrible, but he doesn't have the control over the team like Jerry Jones.
Redskins should play RG3 very limited though, I do agree with that. If they want him to be worth a crap next year when they will need him the most (good luck getting more talent with how bad they've handled the team).
Honestly, I don't think they are that bad off, regarding personnel on the field. If RG3 gets back to his level of health last year, and with Alfred Morris being as good as he is, Garcon and Reed emerging as solid dependable targets, they really only need to plug in a good vet O Lineman on offense.
Defense is a problem, obviously, but a few smart moves (LOL! Redskins? smart moves?
