The Fins were very lucky to win today. Talk about a few inches to the right = TD for Steelers.

Saints played like a totally different team today vs. last time against Seahawks.

Last week you saw the Seahawks at their best and the Saints at their worst.

This week you saw the Saints at their second best and the Panthers at their worst. I say second best because the Cowboys game was just a 60 minute beatdown.

Between the Niner game and the free UFC night of Hunt vs. Silva I don't think I've jumped up and down so much watching tv in one weekend in a very long game.

Didn't realize just how much the Hawks secondary grabs, I was really surprised to see it on almost any catch. But man, Kap fubar'd some stupid simple throws in this game.

I've only seen it once in the NFL. It was the Patriots letting the Giants score.

In college football, I've seen it where a team was allowed to score, but the running back just falls down between the hash marks.
 
Niners can coast into the playoffs now. They should win out but even if they drop the final to the Cards they're in. Hopefully Titans beat Cards next week and then Cards beat Seattle, haha. Wishful thinking...might as well go all the way and wish for SEA, NO and CAR all losing out with exception of CAR beating NO and SF winning out to take #1 seed. 😛
 
Crazy games all over the league, that Steelers finish was ridiculous. Was hoping the Hawks and Panthers were both going to get a win though.
 
Gronk is officially out for the year with a torn ACL and MCL.

Guess those high priced TE's don't work out so well after all.
 
Is the Packers O-line as bad as the highlights seem? I watched them on thanksgiving but only saw highlights from the Falcons/Packers game but the O-line look awful in both match's.

Matt Flynn looked good now that he got some real practice time. But if the O-line is as bad as it looks I would not bring Rodgers back for that. Let alone even with the win they might still be out of the playoffs.

He is only 24. I would say there is a good chance of him coming back, but after a big knee injury will he lose a step?

Yesterday was interesting to say the least. I actually missed almost all of the early games and when I got home, turned on Red Zone and they were showing Prater celebrating a field goal. I was confused why he was so happy... It was a field goal. And then they said it was for 64 yards. I did get to see the end of the Ravens game though. Wow, talk about unlucky. LeSean McCoy snowplowing I wish I hadn't missed, even though I hate the Eagles.

I was upset I didn't get tickets for the Monday night game because it was like 50 degrees during the week. Now, I am glad I didn't get tickets. So snow. Much cold. =3

I pretty sure he'll be back, but probably not until after next season has already started. ACL's are "pretty much nothing" in this age of the NFL it seems like.

I'm guessing he'll end up with his other knee blown out or his other arm will fall off before Kraft finally tells them to settle up and send him packing though. He's already proven he's injury prone. And honestly, I think while he's a talented and very useful weapon, the Pats are simply a better team without him.

Also seems like he has a very hard time recovering. Some guys heal faster than others and he doesn't seem to be on the quick end of the spectrum.

Isn't his contract up or he is due some huge payday? Could Kraft boot him without having to pay much?

He signed a 6 year extension after the 2011-12 season for $53M of which $16.5M is guaranteed. There's also a team option that can be exercised by 2015 to extend it another year for $10M. I don't think you give him up yet. ACL tears are not nearly as big a deal as they were 10 years ago and this isn't a case of being injury prone. No player's knee in the NFL survives that hit.

I didn't realize how much Harbaugh loves crying to the refs. I guess his fans are an extension of him. I knew the Hawks were in trouble when a reporter actually asked the head umpire if he was going to call the game different after Harbaugh cried about the last game.

Still funny how the Hawks barely showed up, got hardly any calls, and the Niners still barely won. Kaepernick is such a hack.

You had to expect a hangover from the Seahawks. They simply need to not meltdown over the final three games and they have the #1 seed.

I guess you don't watch much football, because Harbaugh is the only coach to yell at refs.

I think he's one of the more aggravating coaches in that regard. Every other play he's yelling or screaming that something should/shouldn't have been called. Off the top of my head there isn't any other coach as bad as him when it comes to it.

I'm shocked more coaches don't do that when they play the Seahawks though. Their secondary dares officials to throw flags.

Well, certain other coaches have been fined for chasing refs down after games. I do agree Harbaugh is one of the more animated coaches we have. And then we have Andy Reid always standing around with his clipboard; too disinterested to have any passion.
