I had just come out of a bar and was on route to grab some Chinese food when I saw an argument between two guys I knew. I stepped in to see what all the fuss was about when the aggressor escalated the argument into shoving. I stepped in between them and did a fairly good job of standing up for the smaller guy when some bitch started punching the back of my head.

She kept punching, and although her blows didn't hurt, it was getting annoying. I turned around to tell her to piss off when she punched my right in the face. I told her, "Do that one more time and I'll punch right back."

She hit me in the face again.

I turned around completely and she came at me. I grabbed her, spun her around, and threw her to the ground. I stood over her and told her to get lost.

She left.

The argument dissolved because everyone was so busy watching me deal with the chick.

I can't stand these women that think they're tough.
Sticking your nose into other peoples business is a good way to lose your nose.

I won't watch a guy twice the size of another push him around. I'm big enough to look after myself.

Never let the size of 2 combatants be the determining factor as to who is the aggressor. Being "big enough to take care of myself" is false confidence.
My Jeet Kun Do instructor is/was 5'4" 125lbs MAX and he can , without reservation on my part, kick anyone's ass.
Seen it, believe it, and you will not convince me that size will win over ability.
YMMV, but there is someone out there smaller and faster and with more skillz than you. You simply haven't met them yet.
Good luck to you should you meet.

Well, I had to defend myself from my sister ONCE :p She was hooped out on ecstacy and crystal meth, causing extreme mood swings - not something you want in a star high school weight lifter ;)

I can't remember what we got into an argument about, but she punched 4 holes in the wall, then hit a stud and nearly broke her hand. After that, she got a knife and lodged it into my bedroom door. At that point, I found it to be appropriate to defend myself - I grabed her by the hair on her head, drug the bitch to our living room clear across the house with her face facing the ground, had to actually put all of my body weight on her to hold her down, then I called my mom and the police. I'm sure I got a punch or two in while I struggled to subdue her.

We used the baker act to admit her to the local Behavioral clinic, where she came down off her high and stayed for two weeks. She's been clean and sober since, and I've never been closer to my sister, and proud to say that I kicked her ass

HOLY SH!T:Q

Yeah, that's what I said.

My statement was rather narrow. I'm a good judge of character first, and I can usually tell when someone is mustard. I'm fully aware that there are little dudes out there who can kick major arse, but most of the time it's drunken louts looking for fights, not well-diciplined fighters.

I'm not a tough guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I've been able to stand up for myself whenever it's been needed. In all the years I've been going to bars I've always managed to talk someone out of kicking another guy's ass (only if he doesn't deserve it). I'm sick of seeing these morons picking fights on smaller guys just because they're bigger.

I guess some girls really can throw down, but most of them who try to participate in some kind of physical combat with the average man would just like to think they could, its rather sad.

That said, I don't think guys should hit women for any other reason besides self defense/saving lives. Using your physical power to take advantage of or take out anger on someone smaller than you is just poor form.

Now, I'll start this off as saying I've never hit a woman and I don't think that I would ever put myself in a situation where I would have (or even want) to hit a woman...

But, has anyone ever been in a situation where you had to "fight back" against a woman? What did you do; get beat up or push her away, or strike back?

A buddy of mine has always said "If she wants to fight like a man, she can go down like one too"

You're friend kind of has a point. Especially if it's a hardcore feminist. However I don't condone it.

Still not a smart thing to do.

No person should ever raise their hands to another person, without fully expecting to get hit back. NO PERSON!

If a woman hits a guy, she deserves to get hit back. In today's society, men are not into doing that and in most cases will use force enough to restrain the woman from hurting them.

:)

It's of course ok in self defence, but it has to be real self defence. EX: If you're in an argument and she shoves you once, you can't shove her back. If she keeps it up, then you have to do something, but you have to use the absolute minimum force neccessary.

So did you just smack him around a bit or did you REALLY kick his ass?

I punched a fat girl in the shoulder once (didn't hold back, but purposely did not hit her face) because she did something so dumb it set me off.

I was sleeping on my trombone in band class in high school while the conductor was working with the sucky flutes. I had the mouthpiece comfortably in my eye socket (seriously.. it was comfortable) and I was just sitting there doing nothing to no one.

Then, I feel a horrible pain in the back of my head and in my eye socket. Turns out, this dumb b!tch thought it would be funny to pound on the back of my head with her fist - and she didn't do it lightly. I was immediatly enraged (almost uncontrollable) and I punched her squarely in the shoulder. It hurt her a lot - but she deserved it. BTW, the girl was bigger than me (fatter) and I was a little shrimp in high school.

The whole band immediately got silent and the conductor was like, "OMG! Why did you hit her?"

I was yelling at the top of my lungs now and shouted, "Because she fvcking punched me while I was sleeping. Fvcking b!tch!" Oh ya.. this was a Christian high school. And, instead of getting in trouble, I think I scared the band teacher because I looked extremely pissed (and I was). She just told me to leave the room to calm down. I think I have an adrenaline problem.. cause' when it starts going immediately like that, I start shaking and I have trouble calming myself down for hours.

My eye hurt for a long time and I had a slight black eye from it. She told me she was sorry a few days later - though I never said I was sorry I hit her.

When I think about it, I would do my best to avoid hitting a girl.. But if a girl is beating on me and taking advantage of my attempt not to hit her, I feel it would be necessary to knock sense into her. I feel so bad for guys when I see a girl just beating on them and verbally abusing them while they act like they have no recourse.

i reached in and grabbed a leg and he fell flat on his ass.
my brother is a wrestling coach and i believe he would call that a "take-down".
