Is there a such thing as a legal weapon that can kill?

if you hide it, you're doing it wrong
walk around with a big pipe wrench and they'll leave you alone

Carry around one of those big "golf" size umbrellas.... I have one I got from Ikea for like $3, it's like a friggin harpoon, got a metal tip that I'm pretty sure could impale somebody if I tried...

BTW, what actual purposes (besides just owning it to own it) do people use these things for? You can't safely use this thing without everyone wearing protection.

From the videos I saw on youtube, they are used at rave parties or concerts.

Besides that, they seem like a novelty item, cool to have but no real application besides popping balloons.

Just carry around one of those old school metal chassis AT style keyboards. Those things could easily crack somebodies skull and still be fully functional afterwards.

Cast iron frying pan (leave the packaging on for plausible deniability.)

large pipe wrench?

Shillelagh (probably illegal - classified as a club)

stainless steel chopsticks

barbeque skewers

carving fork

fountain pen

electric guitar

laptop (older the better) - bag with shoulder strap optional

canteen full of water

note - most of these require striking at the head/neck to be lethal

Taser devices are not considered firearms by the United States government.[56] They can be legally carried (concealed or open) without a permit in 43 states. They are prohibited for citizen use in the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island,[57] and Wisconsin, as well as certain cities and counties. Their use in Connecticut and Illinois is legal with restrictions.[

or the Human Body can be used as a weapon. If you're a really good Martial Artist killing is easy. IIRC, in some states you have to register yourself as the weapon.

I like the idea of a quarterstaff, that's a devastating weapon in the hands of somebody that knows how to use one. Probably not legal though and it might make catching a cab a real bitch.

Tactical pen, walking stick, Kubatons, peper spray, a super bright LED flashlight with solid metal body (blind then beat), fix blade knife (under 4 inches and not exposed). My advice is to start petitioning your state and city to change their laws so you can defend yourself properly.

The bolded may be your best bet. I like the idea. Serves many purposes 🙂
