You are all wrong.

That is your standard response to every fucking post. You don't have a clear argument or a position on this subject... all you do is yell "You all are wrong."

I think you have an inflated sense of yourself.. probably even god complex.

If you've seen his previous posts, you'd know he's just your standard, run-of-the-mill religious type. When their beliefs are put to the test, rather than be rational about it, it comes down to such things as, "that's not what The Bible says" or "that's wrong!"

Sigh... :\

I'm sure God is laughing at every single one of us and our pitty attempt at trying to understand this awesome universe. It's like watching a fly trying to get out of a glass maze that has no exit.

We can make theories all we want, but unless we can take a time machine and go back, nobody will ever be 100% right on the scientific details of how it happened.

Now if we could figure out a way to travel at like 10x the speed of light, go somewhere in the universe that is over 9000 light years away and has a direct line of sight to Earth, and see what's up.

We could get enough information to create another universe and life. That should be enough to know how it was done.

Who?

What is a phenomena that you think people can be "100% right on the scientific details of how it happened"? An example, please. Also, what does it mean to be "100% right on the scientific details of how it happened" to you?

You can't even accept Catholicism.. there are about 5 billion people living in this world who do not conform to your beliefs.

No, we have. We challenge you on the subject and you conveniently add people, like me, to your ignore list as soon as you realize that you can't answer the questions they're asking.

You're the King of Cop-outs and he's totally right about you.

The amount of effort being put into this stupid thread is just staggering.

Every time it pops onto the front page, I have to fight the urge to parody it.

Is the Evolution of Ropes a Theory?

I just don't understand how anyone can think these things share a common ancestor?

The Universal Theory of Gravity ... uhh wait what? Gravity is a theory? Just the term has a socialist ring to it, no?

There is no reason that gravity should apply to the just and the unjust equally, and the saved should have relief from such “universalism.” If we have Universal Gravity now, then Universal health care will be sure to follow. It is this kind of Universalism that saps a nation's moral fiber.

Hmm I recalled that you were the guy with all of the Bible quotes in your signature and would always argue pro-Christian in the religious threads. Am I remembering incorrectly?

The stuff about defaulting to "head-in-sand tactics" is more of a general comment rather than one directed at you. I had my mom (who is religious) pull similar crap with me in a "debate" on gay marriage.

The main problem is that people think there uneducated opinions matter. Then instead of trying to educate themselves, spout nonsense. Such as thinking evolution has to do with how life first started.

*their

I love when people accuse other people of being stupid or less educated, and show stupidity in the process.

IIRC you're one of the guys who basically backs away from every falsifiable aspect of religion in favor of a generalized belief in God. You don't adhere to the bible because it can be easily attacked, you don't adhere to any established religion because they can easily be attacked. I can only assume that you came by what you do know about your faith when it swam to the surface of your mind and was "revealed" to you. Its a belief system which cannot be attacked based on specific aspects because it has no specific aspects, yet as a result it also has no basis in anything other than whatever strikes your fancy. You have invented your religion whole cloth and then given it the name Christianity for no reason other than to tie it to the belief system that introduced you to the concept of God in the first place. That was before you pared away the inconvenient majority of it and dismissed it to the realm of metaphor.

...or I could be thinking of someone else. I think Madwand and CycloWizard share a similar set of belief, but even more detached than I've described.

No, you're spot on with Malak. That's exactly what he's done. He'll even argue with other Christians in religious threads (nuh uh, you're wrong!) and your description fits the explanation perfectly.

How is that relevant to you sticking your head in the sand any time someone challenges you with even the slightest inkling of logic and reason?

This is what always happens. Instead of arguing a point, they nit pick anything that they can find to try and discredit. I find it sad as that has nothing to do with the comprehension of the argument. I never said I was a great writer, hell I know I am not but really I do know the difference. But really? taking out a single word in an online forum, spelling and grammar really don't matter if you are able to understand the point easily.

But this is all beside the point as it has nothing to do with what I was talking about. It's that some people lack the mental capability or logical training to understand certain things. This should be clear from the continued asking questions that were already answered many times over. Or the the clear lack of understanding of even basic science.
