Is it still crazy to scan 1000 magazines?

there are warez-type book groups that you could collude with...
with cooperation of others that put forth similar effort..
many nice periodicals from the past could be collected /traded / archived for posterity.
 
How much disk space are these things taking up so far? If you'r ehalf done and have high quality JPGs that's gotta be huge.

Got some more old mags from a friend............... Now I have 583 to scan :Q

so I am 41.85% done (244/583) 😕 I used to be 51% done 🙁 (244/476)

I better get my but in gear.

That looks like a lot of work.

I wonder if after donating them, you might have to delete your pdf's?..Just in case the Magazine Publishing Industry Nazis slap on a lawsuit

aquaman, i think your money would have been better invest in nhl2004 or 2005 and a gamepad 😉 More likely to have been less time consuming (even thoug it's why i'm still up)
 
I definately admire your integrity aquaman! I to would have a hard time giving up something i enjoy. Housing that many magazines would be quite confining however. I love aquatic life, and own a small 10 gallon aquarium of my own. I hope to turn it salt water soon.
