I have a Canon Canoscan 1200U which I have used since December 2001 until now. It is being replaced with a just purchased HP AIO printer. I am probably going to put the old scanner on ebay unless you are interested let me know.

My condolences for your loss Aquaman. She was a good scanner. I hope you bid her farewell honorably...with a baseball bat.

And then post the resulting video on YouTube or BAN.

I am emotionally invested in this thread. I would gladly donate $5 towards a new scanner since I know you would treat it well and use it immensely.

I'll open the AIO scanner lid tomorrow in remembrance.

I believe there are always 2-5 more mags to go since the magazine is still published, but correct me if I'm wrong Aquaman.

Canon, PR department. Customer Service..something like that.

My Grandpa had a 1982 Maxima that hit 400k miles on its original engine. They sent a letter to Nissan ;)

BTW...any pics of the aquariai?

Scanrobot is pretty cool but I don't think it would work for magazines and I am afraid to ask how much that sucker costs :p

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but grats on finishing! The task sounded impossible when you started!
*edit* Hmm... seems I jumped the gun and misread a few posts. You did not delete all the data did you? /boggle */edit*
