crazy as ripping hundreds of CDs to MP3s onto your hard drive.

or spending your time tinkering with a car engine to tweak 5 more HP.

or spening $400 on a video card.

or starting a website dedicated to hardware reviews and giving users a forum to talk about utter nonsense.

:D

spending time on a hobby isn't crazy.

Why don't you just buy a scanner capable of scanning a stack of paper? Or find a kinko's or photocopy center that will let you use one. The one at my work can scan 50 pages in about a minute, and saves the files in pdf format. Take out all the staples from all your magazines, spend a few hours in kinko's, and you're done.

eh.......... I am half way done :) plus I wanna get an endorsement deal from Canon ;)

You sir, are a glutton for punishment. I have that same scanner. It will be worthy of some mention by Canon when you are done. I skipped the middle two thirds of this thread to see how things were going.

Since you have a routine established and can accomplish other feats at the same time, well. Good luck and think about getting a more robust scanner before tackling something like this.

Endeavor to perservere! :p
