Is it possible to straight chug 750ml of vodka?

i'm pretty sure its possible. might even be videos online of it happening. I think I would rather die than do that though

It's possible. Not healthy, and might come back to haunt you in one or more of many different ways... but it's definitely possible.

You could definitely do it as long as you yack it up before you go into a coma and die. Not sure what the point is though.

freshman fifth!

it's definitely possible to drink a fifth of alcohol. i wouldn't do it with vodka though...

Certainly not impossible, but very dangerous. This would kill most people if they were able to keep the vodka down.

Unless they did it over the course of many hours... Ask him the timeframe he drank it in.

bottle of vodka in 8 hours is not the same as in 16.

IIRC, this is how a friend of mine ended up in the hospital due to alcohol poisoning in 11th grade. It might have been tequila, but same difference as far as feasibility.

The thread title is specifically asking about "straight chugging" the bottle.

I would imagine that it would be possible to do so, but ingesting that much alcohol at once is probably going to kill you. One 750 ml bottle is the equivalent to about 17 shots. I plugged that into a BAC Calculator, with weight set at 160 lbs, and it came out to .380!

Freshmen year, someone got their stomach pumped in the ER because they did that. They hospital/school never told the parents.

Exact same thing happened in my freshman year.

That's about 17 1.5 ounce shots. Or 17 drinks. That is asking for trouble.

Can it be done? Sure, you can also die from it. Running a BAC calulator that puts even a 190 pound male as near death levels - 0.377

That's certainly within the lethal range, but there are documented cases of people exceeding that amount and surviving.

I'd conclude that it's definitely possible depending on the tolerance of the person doing the chugging.

i probably wouldn't survive a 10th of that.

Sure it's possible, but who'd want to do it? You'd have a small chance of dying, an excellent chance of requiring medical attention, and next to no chance of being able to do anything for the rest of the night.
