I'm just wondering since in the last week, about 5 Canadians have bought things from me on Ebay despite my large, in bold text (which is in the first paragraph of the auction, in plain view) statement proclaiming that I only ship within the United States
If I put on the customs forms that the items are worth $5000 each, will their customs officials charge them an outrageous fee, or do they research the item cost themselves, too?
It's idiots like you that make buying stuff on ebay hard. What the hell is the big deal about shipping to Canada. If they want your item let them pay the fvcking fee instead of being a complete ass about it.
I think they're the idiots since they bid on it
Most of my auctions are in this format (1 paragraph): Sentence saying what you're bidding on & its condition. Sentence stating shipping costs for USPS Priority Mail. Sentence stating methods of payment. Statement, in bold text, that item can only be shipped within the United States.
Basically half of the auction description (the shipping method and only will ship within US statement) states that it can't be shipped to Canada and they still bid! It's incredible...
