Idiot, please read the wikipedia link you posted earlier. YOU don't understand what non-violent revolution really encompasses. As usual you think you can get by with your superficial analysis and seem to think that non-violent only means that violence was not used. Non-violent revolutions are implemented by people WHO BELIEVE IN DEMOCRACY AND THE RULE OF LAW in formerly undemocratic countries. That doesn't apply to what you're advocating for in the US at all. We are already in a democracy, which you are too childish and immature to live respect the elections thereof.

Again, to get it through your thick skull, your vision of revolution is not what is referred to in the link you posted. So I ask you again, what kind of revolution do you really have in mind if it's not the kind you linked to and it's not violent? You have no idea do you?

This is hilarious, because you are conflating two different things. Remember when we were arguing the civil rights sit-ins? The protestors not only violated private property rights, but also city/state laws. ARE YOU SAYING THIS IS UNDEMOCRATIC BECAUSE THE RULE OF LAW WAS VIOLATED?

You're making arguments that have NOTHING to do with anything.

No I'm not saying that moron. How many times do we have to go over this? Anonymous is not at all similar to the civil rights movement. The civil rights heroes were out in the open about the laws they were disobeying and not trying to punish anyone. Anonymous is in the shadows and specifically targeting people it disagrees with. That is more like what the black panthers were doing and is like vigilante justice and unlike civil rights movements / transitions to democracies.

LMFAO, Holy fucking shit, anonymous... not touching a hair on anyone's personal well being or physical property, is now like the 'black panthers' with their hacking. Jesus Christ you're a fucking idiot.

And stop trying to fucking change the argument, either you believe in the rule of law or you don't. You making exceptions like this is fucking idiotic.

No, what's funny is how you have to bring up a non-sequitor when you idiots can't even win a logical argument. It's sad.

It's not about touching a hair on someone's body. It's about being transparent, not targeting specific groups in a punitive manner. That's the difference between a vigilante group and people who practice civil disobedience.

Here's a question for you. Do you recognize that there are differences between a vigilantism and civil disobedience?

Do you seem him wearing hipster glasses and tight jeans too? I love how he's not persuaded by them but thinks its cool that they're all over public buildings. He's such a rebel! LOL.

Well, it just gives us insight into your psyche, that's all. You're a 31 year old who thinks bear cartoons holding weapons for some mythical fight with 'The Man' is astoundingly awesome.

I mean really, where does one go from there?

Yes, someone who works in corporate finance wearing hipster clothing. Just admit you have no argument and need diversionary tactics. It's pathetic.

It's the blatant energy, that fire, that he got from the badger cartoons. You got to hand it to The Left, for all their ragging on religion, they really get entertained by some fake @ss sh1t...

You keep changing the fucking argument because you keep failing fucking hard.

First it's, DEMOCRACY AND THE RULE OF LAW. Then when i show you an example where that's not true, then it's, WELL THEY WERE OPEN ABOUT IT SO IT STILL FITS. Give me a fucking break.

How about i break into your home, gun you down because i don't like your stupidity, and publicly turn myself and see if that's still 'democratic'.

There's a difference, but it doesn't have anything to do with your extremely retarded "Democracy" and "Rule of law" argument. Your breaking laws in both cases. Considering anonymous aren't even PHYSICALLY imposing themselves on anyone with their hacking, your argument is even more idiotic.

You just don't like the fact that your argument turned to dust because you don't want to seem like a bitch by having to call the sit-in protestors 'anti-democratic thugs' or whatever you think breaking the law means.

So what do you think the difference between vigilantism and civil disobedience is then? Please explain.

You still don't understand my position. My position is that vigilantism and civil disobedience is different. If you support vigilantism you do not understand and trully support democracy and the rule of law. Despite not being violent, anonymous is still a vigilante organization. Your support of it means you do not truly support democracy or the rule of law. This contrasts with someone who supports civil disobedience and who can understand democracy and the rule of law.

Shooting illegal immigrants? Absolutely not.

Shooting at people attempting to cross illegally? Sure.

Do you even know the fucking definition of what vigilantism is?

vig·i·lan·te
[vij-uh-lan-tee] Show IPA
–noun
1.
a member of a vigilance committee.
2.
any person who takes the law into his or her own hands, as by avenging a crime.
–adjective
3.
done violently and summarily, without recourse to lawful procedures: vigilante justice.

Show me where 'openess' is a component. The Minutemen are often called 'vigilantes' (even George Bush called them that). Does that fit with Anonymous? Learn the meaning of words.

Both of these examples are breaking the law, none of these examples are 'destroying democracy' or whatever the fuck you're arguing.

Taking over the House, defunding NPR and everything in between sure is raising the anxiety level of the progressives. I sure hope cutting off the funding for Obamacare doesn't mean they'll have to ration their meds. Things could really get ugly then because right now, this is way too much outrage over a statement made by one individual that he later apologized for.

Actually, anonymous fits the definition nicely. They tried to punish Scientology and other victims summarily without recourse to law. Also, you may want to read this since we live in the 21st Century, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_vigilantism

(Who cares about the Minutemen? If they are trying to punish people without recourse to law they are vigilantes. Of course assisting law enforcement is not the same as vigilante justice.)

No, shooting unarmed people (ILLEGAL or LEGAL) is wrong. Period.

OTOH, ILLEGAL immigration MUST STOP. Period.

LEGAL immigration and selection of the best candidates are the way to go.

All rich people feel this way. They would shoot you for another million without hesitation. When will you folks realize that if you aren't rich then you are also an illegal/black/etc in the eyes of American government and business leaders?

It's going to take an all out revolutionary war to fix this country, without question, and the blacks and latinos will have to be willing to take heavy losses for the common people to win and re-establish this country under the ideals of the Constitution and Declaration.

Groups like Al Qaeda in Iraq was mostly foreign born. Considering the casualties, it's not exactly a surprise that the attacks petered out later. In any case, you comparing the number of attackers coming from outside into Iraq to cause trouble vs. a whole population of people wanting to escape the poverty and violence of mexico into the US is dumb. The overwhelming majority of people from Syria/Iran/wherever wanting to go into Iraq is infinitesimly small. Again, use your almost non-existent brain.

No, the idea of Al Qaeda was foreign to Iraq. The people who imported it were a small minority. The people who carried it out in attacks and suicide bombings were Iraq citizens.

And you failing to acknowledge the might of the American military, American innovation and American problem solving is "dumb." We could close that border down so hard that the Human Rights Campaign would be screaming their god damn heads off.

You're essentially a child in an adult's body. Your idealism shows that much. The fact that I wouldn't take a moment's thought to smash your face with the butt of my rifle and end your life without a second thought shows the inferiority of your ideology. You depend on others to dole out violence on your behalf; you have no stomach for it yourself. You're a child, regardless of your age, and you have no idea what the world is like beyond your privileged birth. The fact that you have people like me willing to stand between you and the ~4 billion people on this planet that would kill you for your lifestyle is a testament to that fact.

And before you dismiss me as some sort of ignorant Neanderthal, I have an MBA from one of the best grad schools in the country, and left a six figure job when I was around your age so I could do my part in our nation's defense abroad. Not that that will give you even a moment's pause. That's alright, I don't expect someone like you to understand. ;)

I read your post, i was responding to people who actually advocate murder and you responded back to me as if that had anything to do with their posts. For one thing, you could build a wall all you want, but if someone is motivated, they'll cross over (see: tunnels that are dug to sneak in). Personally, i think conservatives threatening wild west violence is a bigger problem than something you can't really control all that much. Besides, wall street/corporate republicans love illegal aliens, and corporations/wall street control our government, so good luck stopping them!
How many terrorist attacks in Israel has happened since Israel erected the West Bank barrier? Very few.

There was a time when we used to be hearing about terrorists blowing up things in Israel every week, or in some cases even 3 times a week in early 2000-2005 before the barrier was erected. Now it seems the terrorists are now mostly limited to firing several Qassam rockets into Israel and "hope" they hit something.

Why haven't we heard many stories about terrorists sneaking through the West Bank barrier by using underground tunnels or other means? You certainly can't use the excuse that Palestinians are "less motivated" to get their "1967 land" back now than before and therefore never bothered to try crossing it.

Where are the mass exodus of terrorists crossing Israel through underground tunnels bypassing the West Bank barrier into Israel?

The US borders CAN be secured(through walls or however possible means and combinations) if done correctly. The problem is our US politicians always do a half-arsed job of everything they touch.

It is only okay to make jokes about Christians. White people cant tell jokes about anyone else.

Maybe if you have never served horably in the military you should just shut up and sit down.
