lol yes I think so. I had to recover some files from a wiped HDD and it pulled up little internet images from sites I don't even remember. banner ads, single words.. all kinds of useless crap.

Yes, you have downloaded the thumbnail into your temporary directory. That image was downloaded from their server to your harddrive. Technically the same actions took place as if you intentionally downloaded it.
