I dunno. I think piercings like that are a big turn-off (and I'm 14), but I guess it's her body...
OP, there is your answer.

13 is definetley not to young. I don't know what school your girls go to but I live in a pretty nice area. My parents house is 800-900k... My mom's in the same town is 550k. Anyway it honestly doesn't matter. A belly ring kinda means ****** when girls are already giving bj's in 8th grade... If she wants it let her have it. Now I know what I said isn't the majority of kids but a belly ring is nothing. Some people say guys will want to ****** her more. If they want sex it's not because of the belly ring. If she gives it to them... the belly ring really has no effect. It only helps her feel "pretty" so yes.
btw I'm goin into sophmore year.

As long as you are OK with guys wanting to have sex with her then. Kind of hard to let kids dress/accessorize in a sexy manner (to some) and then complain when people notice. Don't complain when some guy is tarnishing her virtue

But, if she doesn't have the belly ring at 13, how will she ever be popular with the boys?
And, when she reaches 14 or 15, what will she have to do then to remain popular with the boys?
Add me to the list of people who think "absolutely not." The people who allow their children to do such things are the parents who are trying to be their kids best friends or the "cool parent." They are failing miserably at being parents.
I think that the boys who are more successful at finding girls who will "give it up" tend to know the types to target. And, just a guess here, it seems that belly rings would be one of those signals. They're probably not thinking consciously that "it's more sexy" or "it's more attractive." Or, maybe they are. But, at the deepest level, it probably signifies that the girl is growing up with parents who enforce a lower set of values.
Let me say that as a teacher, I'm not often surprised when I meet parents. That's not to say that there's a 100% correlation with parenting and the way children turn out, but it's a VERY strong correlation nonetheless.
Oh, and one last thing: If you're giving your daughter birth control pills when she's 13 years old, just in case... You've already admitted to failing as a parent.

While that is discomforting to her dad, if you really think about it, why does it matter?
It matters because she should be thinking about schoolwork, not being a slut.

Different people with different values will raise their kids in their own way, and just because it's different from how you would do it doesn't mean they "failed."

If you WANT your kid screwing around at 13, I question your set of values - or lack therof. "If it feels good - do it!" is a recipe for disaster, but most people don't want to think beyond the "now" and will blame the consequences on anything but their own foolish actions.
