Actually, Tominator, all we showed him was that our military is vastly superior. And although we he may have been wrong in this instance, I wouldn't want anyone to draw the conclusion that might makes right.
Also, his claims are not as quite preposterous as most of us assume. That part of the world was that colonialized by Western countries in the early part of the 20th century and when we left, we cut up the region along lines that suited our needs best, not theirs. Not that I'm saying he's right (why'd he wait so long to invade if he felt Kuwait was truly part of Iraq?), just that it's not as clear-cut as most people here would believe.
