Good speech so far. Yes, there are derivative parts, but if Bush's typical "terrar freedum" speeches are a 5/10, this one is at least an 8/10.
Funny how the President of Iran has more substance and logic in his speeches than the President of the USA. How far we have fallen. Even if we compare the two speakers on speech structure alone, the President of Iran still comes out far ahead.

Oh yeah, he shows great intellect, logic, and substance (just ignore the "death to Israel cuz they suckorz" and "we want to WIPE people off the face of the earth" stuff).
Seriously, a genocidal maniac is definitely a better leader with a stronger moral compass and ability to facillitate peace in the world than GWB, simply because he doesn't stumble as much in his speeches.

I'm still waiting for the transcript, but maybe you could enlighten us exactly when he said "death to Israel" or "wipe people off the face of the Earth" (or anything similar) during his speech.

No idea about this current speech, I'm not near a TV. Its the content of practically every speech he gives....who cares if he gives a good dog-and-pony show for the UN?

Okay thanks junior. Go and play now.
Let the adults discuss the title topic...Ahmadinejad's UN speech.
?moving the world toward war?
?The U.S. government thinks that it?s still the period after World War II,?
?Why is the U.S. government so against our people??
"...And we are against killing people.?

Ok sweetie, lets dance.

?moving the world toward war?
Lots of logic to be demonstrated here. The US takes out genocidal dictator (Saddam vs Kurds) with a history of invading other countries (Kuwait), but Iran threatens to wipe out Israel frequently, and positions itself against the war on terror....but somehow we're the war mongering people throwing the world off balance?
?The U.S. government thinks that it?s still the period after World War II,?
Lots of well-thought-out substance here. The US Gov't isn't the one rejecting a central component of WWII, Hitler's genocide of the Jews. Who's stuck in post-WWII thinking here?
?Why is the U.S. government so against our people??
The US Gov't isn't, it is against extremist, violent governments. Bush JUST spoke, saying the war wasn't against Islam or the people...it was against terrorism and organizations/gov'ts that support it.
"...And we are against killing people.?
More well thought out substance and logic. I guess Jews aren't people?
Ahmadinejad is a maniac....but at least he has plenty of logic and substance. I'm so glad we cleared that up.

"We don't agree with killing people" yet they campaign for the absolute destruction and wiping Israel and its people off the map. What about that isn't in the realm of a genocidal, maniac, lunatic, choose whatever word you want? Fine, I'll pick another one....evil.
