Maybe Aljematerroristbob should hold a conference to go over 300 denial. In other related news the unemployment level in Iran has reached an all time high and women are still treated worse than sheep. But this is the most pressing issue at the moment.

Those damn Jooos in Hollywood conspired to make them look bad.. Kill em all!!!

Did the British complain about Braveheart and The Patriot? Did the Germans complain about Saving Private Ryan? Did Mexicans complain about The Alamo? (wait, scratch that last one I think they actually did in the end)

Why complain about something that happened 2487 years ago even if a movie has it represented?

Cyber savvy Iranians have already started online petitions and set off "Google bombs" against "300".

You know you struck a nerve when cyber suicide bomber terrorists come out.

😛

haha

but didn't Google fix that a few weeks ago anyway?

And we wonder why the middle east and the west cant get along. A fictionalized version of events from about 2500 years ago gets them all riled up.

Well most americans have no f'ing idea that persia is modern day Iran.

Sad, but true.

I fail to see where all the political agendas people are tying into this movie truly show themselves.

Indeed, now we are left with no other choice but to invade.

No, let's have Hollywood produce a movie about the Iraqis kicking Iranian butt during the Iran-Iraq War -- just portray the retaking of the Al Faw peninsula and show the Iranians turning tail and running. We'll motivate the Iraqis and tick off the Iranians -- throw more fuel on the fire!

and once again, the historical accurateness is nill. Why do people assume that

I haven't seen the movie, am not disagreeing with you.

However, I saw a piece about the film on TV and they asserted otherwise. It is of course fiction. But they were talking of the history prof who advised on the film, and the early/ancient historian who wrote about the battle and their efforts to retains some historical accuracy. (I can't remember the name of either.) They even addressed the "uniforms" worn. Unless I misunderstood, the film followed the ancient Greek habit of depicting the soldiers without most of their armor. Gotta show off those abs, I suppose 😉

We really need to have a sincere peace offering with Iran and put this acrimony behind us.

Let's sit down with them, and as a peace gesture they give us some of their terrorists hiding in safehouses, and we give them our terrorists hiding in the Whitehouse, and then all have an apricot hookah together. 🙂
