Unless they develop look down radar with terrain mapping aided by GPS/IMU technology to allow it to fly nape of the earth, it will probably get shot down. Also, the range will be limited until they also develop extremely efficient jet turbine technology.

Looks kind of the Wily Coyote level tech right now. Oh course that's what the said about the space shuttle.

I think they fear the implications of what could be evolved from this rather than the device itself. Just because you have zero capacity to see beyond what is right in your face doesn't mean everyone is so dense.

To be honest...what is Iran thinking with this? You don't try to beat the "West" with technology...you're playing the wrong card. Israel or any other western country will come up with something to detect and shoot this down before it even takes off the ground.
