No, I'm just pointing out how stupid you look. It was a Fox link, so you blasted the story with the usual "faux" outrage shit, yet the liberal news stations reported the exact same thing. It makes you look like a partisan fuckhead.

thats why i when i post i do my best to avoid fox news. even if the article is a AP re-post (wich if the idiot would have looked it is).

To many will just bash fox even thought the same damn article is on CNN, MSNBC etc.

no point in pointing it out though. they will just ignore facts and continue to bash "faux news!" ..

anyone can build a shitty drone and autopilot controls have been around for years. reliable long range secure communications is the real problem.

Yeah...they fire one of these off, we take control of it and redirect it right up Ahmadinnerjacket's asshole.

I suppose you could strap a chest bomb to a guy and tape him to a remote controlled drone and tell him to push the button right before impact?

I was going to say "Aren't suicide bombers manned drones?" :p

Hell it's alway a matter of time any catastrophe occurs anywhere
Hah, true.

BTW those are tiny missiles, not cruise missiles. A cruise missile is as big as this bomber.
I also doubt that they would understate the tech.
A country with an inferiority complex under continual threat of possible attack wouldn't understate its tech?

Because anyone with google googles can pretty much figure out what the thing can do when they show a picture of it. Not to mention this fruitcake has been waving his peen around any chance he gets.

If anything, I think he's more likely to overstate it's capabilities since no one will really do anything about it anyhow.

You said you didn't think an Iranian could understand Stealth tech
I asked you why?

OK, the USA and Israel have drones, and now its time to pee our pants if Iran has some.

But the first thing to say is that drones are so effective in Afghanistan because the technology challenged Taliban has no means of seeing them even when they are flying overhead. But would such a drone be equally effective against a technological nation that have radar systems that would see them coming from hundreds of miles away? Even before they got to any sector patrol assignment for said drone.

But if the Taliban could even get a hold of one WW2 era fighter type plane equipped with radar and machine guns, it could probably have a field day shooting down US drones by the dozens. But then again maybe not, if the drones started carrying antiaircraft missiles. I am maybe military technology drone ignorant about drone technology and its limitations. But point being, using drones against a nation that can detect them and shoot them down is a fools game.

But wait, these Iranian drones are jet powered, able to fly much faster than any prop plane but way slower than a decent piloted jet fighter. Nor does the link mention that much about the expensive sensor capacity of these Iranian drones.
But it looks like they would be useless as offensive weapons, but maybe Ideal for Iranian domestic use against low tech guerrilla fighters who flit across international borders to do hit and run raids against Iran. Given their speed, just one drone could patrol a long sector of the Iranian border.

Considering that everyone was pretty much making fun of their "drone", I'm not sure you read the thread.

Looks like something out of Flash Gordon LOL.

Actually with the cardboard cutout clouds in front, sky tarp in back, and people standing around, it looks like a decent first grade diorama. If I were Principal Skinner I'd give it 3rd place in a diorama contest.

Isn't Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the biggest "un-manned drone" in all of Iran?
