Haha, I couldn't really care less about MMS, but at least it silences the people who constantly complain about it not supporting it.

I have never in my life sent nor received an MMS message. We all just use email.

Exactly. A service was invented over 20 years ago to transfer messages, it was called email, and it's free. By not having MMS, it forced people to break their stupidly expensive habit and use a proper method for sending messages. Now we'll never break people from paying many dollars per kilobytes on SMS when they get 5GB of data for free.

I don't even want to imagine how much this is going to end up costing me when people start trying to send me MMSs.

I'm more annoyed that we still have to pay for freaking Text Messages. Some of my friends have text message plans and send me freaking 1 word text messages, they never remember that I don't have a texting plan even though I remind them after receiving the message. $0.25 each time 🙁

I had AT&T turn off my ability to send and receive SMS (except for free alerts). It's worth the effort.

I would but once in a while I actually do need 1 or 2 messages from my wife (when she's in a meeting or class). I wish I could block everyone but her 🙁

Stereo Bluetooth comes in handy for me when I study as the cord gets in the way of my arms as I shuffle through 6-7 books at one time.

I actually want to thank Palm though, I think its the first real iPhone contender and it seems to have really made Apple push the things people have been asking about for awhile now. Competition almost always makes things better for everybody.

How about regular people, not developers? They?re going to ship it ?this summer.? It will be a free update to iPhone 3G customers. It works on the original iPhone as well, so that not ALL the features will be available (like MMS and Stereo Bluetooth) on the 2G iPhone.

Looks like they aren't making (or can't make?) a Bluetooth A2DP stack for the 1st gen iPhone, but I don't get why MMS wouldn't work.

Well its not an all the time solution, but it does come in handy.
