If it can hit stock 4.2 then I doubt its a suicide run at 4.8 but it might involve custom water to get 4.8. If it does 4.8 on air or aio water I'm getting this on release.

The 4.8 GHz BDW is iffy to me since Vcore is blank on CPU-Z and the 1024M digit PI test wasn't run (so it boots and can run a sub 5 second bench)

Even if Skylake is only 15% faster, clock for clock, over Haswell - a 4.5 GHz SKL will be pretty damn fast!

Nope - there are slight differences between the ultra budget and highend motherboards even at stock, has been for many years, though the gap has closed with Intel moving more and more components off the motherboard and onto the CPU die.

I wouldn't trust Vcore from CPUz on pre-release hardware. In the past it was often wrong.
