Duh.And you mean there won't be any 2x144 MB = 288 MB bLLC for 2 compute tile NVL-S SKUs
MONEYand if so why?

It's all bs.We've already got leaks claiming 2x144 MB bLLC for NVL-S. And there's been similar rumors for upcoming AMD SKUs.
I buy laptops. From what you mentioned previously you'll be going for the cheapest Zen6 peasant 8C SKU. But even if you don't have the money to spend, others may go for more than that.
Because? And don't give us MONEY again. You'll need something more solid than that to be believed. Otherwise it's just opinion/speculation as usual. It's all bs.
Ok, well the leaks are talking about NVL-S, meaning desktop.I buy laptops.
It's like, public knowledge.
Money.Because? And don't give us MONEY again. You'll need something more solid than that to be believed.
Idk how that stops me from saying stuff.Ok, well the leaks are talking about NVL-S, meaning desktop.
So opinion/speculation. And that's fine, but it's not any settled truth of what the outcome will be.Money.
You can say whatever you want.Idk how that stops me from saying stuff.
It is settled truth. And that's fine, but it's not any settled truth of what the outcome will be.
Indeed. You can say whatever you want.
Then please show the roadmap slides confirming this.It is settled truth.
All the big cache piles are single tile for either vendor, right on their roadmaps too.
Same to you, buddy. Then please show the roadmap slides confirming this.
I’m not claiming that for certain, I only linked an article with leaks about what is expected.Same to you, buddy.
Show me a 288M NVL-S bLLC on a 2027 Intel desktop advancement roadmap and you're golden.
Xitter posts are not leaksI only linked an article with leaks about what is expected.
The worst thing I dislike about them is that in the effort to summarize the source, they often times misrepresent it, which just adds unwanted noise to a signal that is inherently noisy. If there were a bot which could aggregate the rumors faster while also preserving the original source, it would put them out of business. Currently, speed and the fact that they are cheap labor (most of their authors are from Pakistan or India) are their only moat.Yeah, I guess so. They're useful as a source for picking up leaks and whatever quickly though. But the info has to be questioned in order to try to find out what is accurate and not. I think the collective forum members here does a good job in doing that.
Depends on who posts it and what info the post contains.Xitter posts are not leaks
He's seen the roadmaps I'd say. Roadmaps he can't provide to you, I would guess if I were in your shoes. Believe or not just stop polluting the thread with this nonsense, please.Depends on who posts it and what info the post contains.
Also, you forgot to answer this:
”You said it’s ”right on their roadmaps”, so what evidence do you have of that?”
He's seen the roadmaps I'd say. Roadmaps he can't provide to you, I would guess if I were in your shoes. Believe or not just stop polluting the thread with this nonsense, please.
Yeah. He's seen the roadmaps I'd say
Gimme shroomsMost likely it's just voices in her head.
You think AMD's FAD goals are conservative then? If AMD has the goods to lead in client they should chip away at that share? Data centre is just working away at the old dinosaur contracts bites at a time.Yeah.
Client Intel's ok and looks consistent but if anyone here expects any kind of perf leadership, then lol.
Data center they're out.
Gimme shrooms
The ”trust me bro” no longer works, based on past track record. And BS should be called out and challenged, so we know the reliability of info posted. He's seen the roadmaps I'd say. Client? Ehhhh can go either way.You think AMD's FAD goals are conservative then
None of the Intel parts are leadership but they're competent. If AMD has the goods to lead in client they should chip away at that share?
That one's gigadead.Data centre is just working away at the old dinosaur contracts bites at a time.
You're yapping at people trying to have an actual discussion on the 2026-2030 market outlook. Don't.The ”trust me bro” no longer works, based on past track record. And BS should be called out and challenged, so we know the reliability of info posted.
Fine if you would be clear about that you are just speculating / guesstimating. But don’t claim it as fact when it’s not. You're yapping at people trying to have an actual discussion on the 2026-2030 market outlook. Don't.
Do you think NVL can win 1t against Zen6 in any benchmark?Fine if you would be clear about that you are just speculating / guesstimating. But don’t claim it as fact when it’s not.
You’re jumping around all over the place. The discussion was about whether there will be 288 MB bLLC variants of NVL-S.Do you think NVL can win 1t against Zen6 in any benchmark?
It's the same question. You’re jumping around all over the place. The discussion was about whether there will be 288 MB bLLC variants of NVL-S.
Yeah really curious about client. Intel clearly using pricing to keep share and AMD doesn't seem interested in much more then slow incremental gains in that space by chomping down, mostly, from the high end. It makes sense, and the memory of the WSA will still be there. But it's less exciting, and the AMD options have not always had the choice or build quality of intel counterparts in laptop when their SOC is superior.Client? Ehhhh can go either way
That one's gigadead.
Not really in every metric GNR is the 2nd best server CPU after Turin but it has lot's of stuff that AMD doesn't have like More PCI-E Memory Bandwidth advantage they are shipping every GNR they make and DMR is another big upgrade like Venice Dense is over Turin Dense it will arrive later than Venice Dense.I wrote data centre but I meant overall server. Intel is dead in data centre right? Can't see them coming back but so many legacy intel contracts so corporate is taking a real long time to realise what should be staring them in the face - AMD server products are just plain better.
