As Hot Chips 34 starting this week, Intel will unveil technical information of upcoming Meteor Lake (MTL) and Arrow Lake (ARL), new generation platform after Raptor Lake. Both MTL and ARL represent new direction which Intel will move to multiple chiplets and combine as one SoC platform.

MTL also represents new compute tile that based on Intel 4 process which is based on EUV lithography, a first from Intel. Intel expects to ship MTL mobile SoC in 2023.

ARL will come after MTL so Intel should be shipping it in 2024, that is what Intel roadmap is telling us. ARL compute tile will be manufactured by Intel 20A process, a first from Intel to use GAA transistors called RibbonFET.

As mentioned by Tomshardware, TSMC will manufacture the I/O, SoC, and GPU tiles. That means Intel will manufacture only the CPU and Foveros tiles. (Notably, Intel calls the I/O tile an 'I/O Expander,' hence the IOE moniker.)

Good exemple of bad faith, i said in other words that for CB only the MT score matters, but if you want to forge some falsehood about me that render you happy why not, when arguments are worthless only thing left is bs like your post....
If you are saying that when someone finally posts only a CB R23 leak about Zen5 where It will be 20% faster than 14900K(KS?) in ST, then you won't comment that Zen5 is great and instead will wait for MT score, because ST doesn't matter and what "matters" is nT, I simply don't believe that.

Less than 9 hours for MTL announcement! God knows what they're gonna reveal!

If it turns out to be a disappointment, Intel may never ever recover from that shock.
Why are you so extreme? And what would be even considered as a disappointment?
If the product is not that good, then just lower the price and It will sell.

Few time before Zen 1 was released i said that if even Intel had 10% advantage in ST it would be magnified as if it was 100%..

It is useless to align high ST score in softwares that are always used in MT by the definition, what matter is the latter as well as perf/Watt.

Really looking forward to what Meteor Lake has to offer. It's definitely going to be very important and interesting launch for Intel. Kinda like with Core Duo launch (and the next thing after is the real deal). Not saying that Arrow Lake is going to be new Core 2 but it's interesting to see how things are going to progress.

Anyone know the all-core (nT) max non-o/c frequency for the following CPU's?
12900K
12900KS
13900K
13900KS
14900K

You can find the infos in Computerbase reviews of these CPU, for exemple :

Is there any kind of event or livestream of it? I haven't been able to find anything other than Intel's own website: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/events/on-event-series/innovation.html

I'll be at work so I like the live blogs that sites do since I can usually sneak a peek at those every 10 minutes or so.
Pretty sure the livestream will be on the website you linked yourself.
Unfortunate abt work, my prof is sick so my class is online, meaning I get to watch the livestream with zoom in the background lol

I am the "average" guy. ;)
Looking at the average score from all the tests done. :D

@Abwx
I meant TPU Performance summary. I use that site mostly.
That average includes ST and MT from Cinebench only.
On the other hand, you have 47 different scores, If I counted correctly, so including a single ST CB score won't really skewer the results.

Like doing an average using CB MT and CB ST, very relevant, why not averaging 7 ZIP ST and 7 ZIP MT while we are at it, and doing so with all MT apps to get garbage averages at the end...

At the end that yield non significative numbers but for sure that it can help one brand or another producing advantageous comparisons...

Even Computerbse used to be misleading at a time since they once had only one average that included both ST and MT numbers of CB and other such apps.

This might be the livestream (just guessing based on the title): https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...vation-day-1-livestream-replay.html#gs.5x1162

I really hope they don't overdo the "Siliconomy" crap term. Made up marketing works really bother me and for some reason this one is especially hitting a nerve.

Less than 9 hours for MTL announcement! God knows what they're gonna reveal!
Preparing for the reveal, make sure:

You are properly hydrated.

All windows are closed, to avoid disturbing neighbors with your screams of awe or disappointment.

Adult diapers are ON, for obvious reasons.

Plenty of tissues are handy for wiping tears of joy or utter sadness.

Sitting area is free of any obstructions or hurdles to give you ample space to jump with joy or prevent your foot from hitting anything solid when you get angry.

Incense is burning to create a serene atmosphere for you to enjoy the show.

Pets are put in cages, preferably in a different room, to prevent them from ruining the experience.

Your gf/wife/SO is gone shopping. If not, give her your credit card and make her go.

Make a list of the things you will be selling/auctioning off to afford the wonderful toys Intel or their partners will be showcasing.

Keep your phone within reach in case you need to call 911.

Pre-record a message on your phone to explain to 911 that you have lost your voice for whatever reason and they need to come to your address ASAP.

Prepare a will and e-mail it to your lawyer in case your heart gives up from the excitement or overwhelming despair.

Launch mid December is a big disappointment, means first laptops might not come before early 2024.
That's right, waiting for them is taking too long. I need to buy a new laptop urgently this year, and it looks like I'm getting the Phoenix version. It has an excellent and efficient processor, the most powerful integrated GPU on the market, and even an A.I. accelerator, everything I might need.

Why people keep plugging AMD products in Intel threads? This post sounds like an ad.
