Could E core be more effcient than X core in Snapdragon 8+ gen 1?
Hmm I'm not sure, do you have any reviews that show CPU-only power draw of Snapdragon 8+ gen 1? I found that the whole Snapdragon 8+ gen1 SOC (GPU included )draws around 14.5W in some review.

What kind of weird CPU is this? Golden Cove? Raptor Cove? 2MiB L2$ indicates Server Golden Cove/Raptor Cove, but the Limited L3 is only 36MiB(1.5 MiB per Core, that is very low)

Details for Result ID Genuine Intel(R) 0000 (24C 48T 1.61GHz/5.2GHz, 12x 2MB L2, 36MB L3)

Probably Raptor Lake. It's probably just misdetecting the number of threads as 48 instead of 32.

That is true, seen the 1.61 Ghz Base and 5.2 Ghz Boost would indicate that it's probably the Intel i9 13900T it's a 35 Watt part.

Not exactly 8+ gen 1, but maybe somebody with Surface Pro with a variant of 8cx can run PES?
AFAIK CBR23 does not run natively on Windows on ARM. So sadly this would not be a represantative comparison. Not to mention that I am betting the farm for native support.

Well, Intel execs starting to show their true colors again. Not going to shed any tears for their sales and marketing, especially given how grossly incompetent the latter has been, but it would be foolish to hope that the cuts end there. Guess the only thing to hope is that the cuts to engineering are minimal.

It's kinda different when you are losing money.

I'd expect the cuts to be more targeted this round. Bringing back all the veterans cut earlier can't have been cheap, so there should have been some lessons learned.

Instead of the cuts hitting the regular employees who just do the best they can, they should focus on revising the salaries of executives, managers and project leaders. I'm pretty sure there are tons who are getting paid way more than they are worth.

It's hard to change company culture. Intel has always been middle-management focused. Companies have laid off as much as 90% of their staff in an attempt to change culture.

Side note: If you are in the tech industry, ensure you have adequate savings. Layoffs are skyrocketing right now due to all the free money disappearing.

EDIT: I'm not saying the tech industry is the only industry that is doing this, but it is certainly one of the hardest hit. I suspect other industries will follow.

This is platform power not core power.
Skip around 13M they measure core power.

Anandtech didnt test cortex X2, we have cortex X1, A77 and A78 data from Anandtech, you can see no much difference between his data and Anandtech data for older cores.
