Intel: we're not making these for consumers, Igor. Stop listening to fake leakers and clickbait sites. Over to you, Steve!

There have been a few looking for 12+0 Bartlett Lake. Whether that materializes, who knows.

They're making them eventually, but their prime purpose will be industrial applications. We may not even see them available for consumers through regular DYI channels, they may end up at OEMs.

I'd love to see the 12P benchmarked today against 8+16 in consumer workloads, I've been yapping my mouth since before Alder Lake that hybrid on consumer desktop makes little sense. It's all academic though, Arrow Lake will still be the better consumer choice in 2025 for people wanting to buy Intel.

I was thinking Xeon E in general. Also if they can't fix Arrow Lake's gaming performance, K parts make sense.

I don't know I just can't seem to get excited about this. Unless the price is amazing you can get 12 more performant Zen 5 cores on a newer, more efficient node.
So is this Raptor Lake Refresh Refresh?
Or should we call it Golden Cove+++

Yeah but they are dual ccx/ccd which sucks.

If there is really a 12 p core bartlett lake it would be one ring no scheduling issues. It would be awesome and would replace 9800x3d but sadly I do not think it's happening.

Maybe the robots are getting super complex these days. Too many moving parts and calculations.
12 cores 24 threads with Raptor Cove IPC on a single die dream come true. Why max out at 8 cores. The few games that benefit from 16 threads more headroom and ones that go more you got a winner if it actually comes.

So a 12 core Bartlett Lake is going to be more performant than a 9900X?
