Did I read that aritcle correctly where the India guy essentially said that when it came to beyond-visual combat, the Americans were on top? Therefore it is not suprsing in that for a while the US military has been working on attack targets from a greater distance. Perhaps when it comes to getting up close and personal the USAF has lost their edge. That being said, though, if the enemy target is taken out before visual combat then all of their (i.e. Indian) expertise is wasted.
