they are everywhere here in ca now. i do admit the burgers aren't bad. decently made with decent ingredients.

how anyone could like the fries i dunno. over salty, mushy, flacid cr@p. its like they toss em in at one temperature to cook and skip the higher temperature dip to finish the fry with a crunch.

most any other place has better fries, mcdonalds, burgerking, kfc etc.

place is only good for a burger and thats it.

kfc > in and out

in every way possible.

We don't have In-N-Out Burger here in Indiana.

Secret menu and Jesus wrappers for in and out:

BIBLE PHRASES

Ever wonder what the little bible quotes sneakily hidden on the In-N-Out paper packaging mean? Ever wonder if they have anything to do with the fact that only blonde children work here? Let's investigate:

REVELATION 3:20 (burger and cheeseburger wrappers): Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

JOHN 3:16 (soda cups): For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

PROVERBS 3:5 (milkshake cups): Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (thanks to Robin Wright for the correction)

NAHUM 1:7 (Double-Double wrapper): The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

IMO, I've tried Fatburger twice through friends' referrals; meat's bland (that's why they need all those "accessories" like eggs, bacon, etc. to cover it up -- even costs extra!). Can't beat In-N-Out burgers in both price and quality.

they put a slab of cheese on the grill, dice up onions, cook the onions on the grill, put the onions on the cheese, and add the dressing (1000 island if my memory serves me correctly), and put that slab of cheese with all the add-ons (onions, dressing) on top of the fries. the cheese then melts down onto the fries and viola!, animal style fries!

Wow, that sounds really good! Do you know if they charge extra for that?

Give it time. If they keep on expanding the way they have been over the last 50 years, you will have near you in 900 years.
