Impossible to eat 7 saltines in a minute or less?

I didn't believe it today when I was first told, but 3 experiments proved me wrong; I can't eat over 4/min

Anybody able to do this? I guess the salt and dry cracker absorb all your saliva, so it's tough to chew/swalow.

Either way, saltines are mighty tasty 😀:thumbsup:
 
Same concept as you can't eat 2 pretzel rods in under a minute. Your mouth can't produce enough saliva to form a proper bolus, and so it can't be swallowed. It's like trying to swallow sand.
 
save up A LOT of saliva at first....just keep producing it in your mouth until your mouth is about to explode w/ it. Then eat your crackers...all that extra saliva will allow you eat 7 of them lol.

This works. A good way to produce saliva is to bite the tip of your tongue hard for a good 10 seconds.
