The only thing gassy around here is the Democrats failure to Impeach President Trump or to get off the toilet.

Yeh, the report has only been out for 3 weeks & Congress back in session for less than two weeks. It does seem like an eternity given all the bullshit generated by Barr & Trump before & after.

Here's the real story. While Democrats are posing and posturing on the collusion illusion and a faux obstruction on no crime at all, President Trump forges ahead.

https://dailycaller.com/2019/05/09/bianco-park-second-circuit/

"The Senate confirmed Judge Joseph Bianco and Michael Park to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, putting President Donald Trump on the verge of flipping the panel to conservative control.

Bianco and Park are Trump’s second and third appointees to that panel. If Trump fills the remaining two vacancies on the 2nd Circuit, Republican appointees will control the court. The two were confirmed with separate votes Wednesday and Thursday."

That's some very muddled thinking on your part. It's obvious that strong public interest is at stake in this matter. The HOR has the sole power of impeachment & the right to any and all materials related to such. That's at the highest order of the law, the Constitution itself. Barr's oath demands that he comply with that. His prosecutorial judgement is immaterial. It's not his call to make. If you think it's more complicated than that you've been gaslighted rather badly.

When the two branches disagree on if the material reaches the level that needs to be turned over, that is what the court if for so a judge can decide. Granted Barr should have deferred this to a court to sort out when he was presented with a subpoena to present all materials unredacted.

Barr is simply obfuscating & stalling, maneuvering as if he is the President's lawyer rather than a person sworn to uphold the Constitution. He can defend the Constitution or the President but not both at the same time, not over this.

The sad truth is that Barr has executed yet another Trumpian mind fuck on the public. Logic dictates that if the full report & the underlying testimony truly exonerates the President then he would gleefully order it released to Congress. That's a no-brainer. The fact that he hasn't indicates that the truth isn't that at all.

Funniest, most ridiculous thing I've seen in days.

WH is accusing others of "not following rules and norms." Trump, champion of protocol and decorum

Dipshit has shit for brains, but then we already knew that.

He's mentally incapable of governing as demonstrated by his inability to understand the world around him including Congressional rights (or anything that infringes on his "rights" and that would be anything or anyone who doesn't give in to every one of his wishes). The Republicans are noxious creatures poisoning our nation with their pissing on Constitutional principles along with this thing in Office who finally has his Roy Cohn in the form of Barr.

He's got to go asap and impeach before Barr can announce an investigation into Biden. If Barr gets the jump then impeachment will be retaliation by Dems. If impeachment is started then the reverse applies and Barr with Trump have no good defense.

Remember when Republicans pretended to believe that Bill Clinton talking to Loretta Lynch was a huge scandal about the politicization of federal law enforcement?

Remember when Janet Reno took the Starr Report, redacted all the cum stains off of it, then gave Congress a summary that was full of lies?

Remember how the GOP was totally okay with that? Remember when Russians didn't own the sitting POTUS?

Good times...

This is a far greater problem than that ever was and see my prior post as to why.

Oh I entirely agree, the president pushing the AG to criminally investigate his political enemies is a catastrophic blow to the idea of liberal democracy.

I was just pointing out that Republicans pretended to be outraged by something far smaller yet have nothing to say about this. It just goes to prove that they never gave a shit about the country and the constitution, only getting and retaining power.

Joe McCarthy, Nixon, and the Teapot Dome scandal all rolled into one and people defend this... thing.

Do you want to know how I know that either there is no god or if there is, that he has no ability/desire to intervene in his creation? If he did, any person who uttered anything to the effect of "Democrats need to stop wasting time on these nonsense investigations" would spontaneously combust.

--proceeds to post some DailyCaller horeshit. Seriously--why do you think this corner of the internet is as certifiably retarded as the corners that are more comfortable for you and your kind? Why do you think that? lol

And don't you have some brown babies to grenade along the border? Get to it, "patriot!"

For me Pelosi now has the bodies of dead children as her legacy, by virtue of her complacency.

She won't act against concentration camps, so what good is she?

She's really overplaying this second act struggle to try and make some incredible third act resolution, and it's not going to save her reputation when all is said and done. History will marvel at what took her so long.

Another thought, if the delays continue and only the election resolves Trump's presidency, watch the spin where pursuing him for his many many crimes will be seen as vindictive and partisan, rather than a necessary preservation of the rule of law.

Is Pelosi pulling a Biden and trying to protect the Republicans' integrity? Because this is getting really stupid fast. Complacency all the way to the election legitimizes the Republican position of doing nothing because apparently there's nothing that bad going on with the Trump admin....

That's pretty much been his spin the whole time.
