Pure slander & bullshit. Speaker fees are one of the purest forms of the sacred Free Market currently extant.

How exactly do you define pure?

I don't doubt the Clinton pay the minimum taxes they are due. The corruption is when a 30 minute speech results in a "fee" of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and mysteriously laws favorable to the payer are pushed shortly after.

When one corporation is lobbying the government, and competing on government contracts, it sure seems awfully suspicious for that exact same corporation to overpay Clinton by 10000% the going rate for a speech.

It kinda seems to me like it goes like this:

Corporation: "how about we pay you a million dollars and you push the executive order we need?"

Clinton: "oh I can't just accept money, that would be a bribe!"

Corporation: "how about you talk to us about the bribe for 20 minutes, and we will call it a 'payment for your speech' instead"

that's some mighty fine deduction sherlock. You should work for some form of law enforcement with that kind of preternatural insight. You'd be a boon to any dept.

As long as they only give him one bullet and it is kept locked in the trunk of the car and he doesn't have the key.

Okay. Where did Clinton make money that has nothing to do with the family political "business"?

Most politicians make their money from something related to their field of endeavor, same as everyone else with some career in a profession. But I'm sure the dumbshits will continue to demonstrate how elusive simple realities are to their "brains".

Um, when a business grows slower than sitting on your ass... you're doing it wrong.

That went right over your head.
Boy did it ever. He goes from saying Trump's inheritance would have been frittered away had he not been able to "make money" to saying that Trump would be richer if he had sat on his ass and invested in S&P index funds. Contraderption if I've ever seen one.

right, keep fucking that chicken. don't you have a google search you need to rant about somewhere?

Must suck for Chirpy's poor kid to have such a sad sack of a paranoid alt-right dad. Poor guy should have googled what instant results and featured snippets actually represent, but then he'd still chalk up those google results to a Trump conspiracy lulz.

I'm trying to understand the thought process lefties go through here.

Clinton offers to speak for a million dollars. Some corporation actually pays that much, BECAUSE HER POLITICAL CAREER.

A-okay!

Trump owns a hotel that offers rooms to everybody. Some people choose to stay there, theoretically, BECAUSE OF HIS POLITICAL POSITION.

OMG, TRUMP IS CORRUPT AND TERRIBLE AND THIS IS THE END OF HIS PRESIDENCY IMPEACH HIM IMMEDIATELY!

Never mind the fact that Trump hotels were perfectly successful long before Trump even started his campaign. Never mind the fact that Clinton had absolutely zip public speaking for massive fees outside of politics. Never mind the fact that "coincidentally" the same corporations that pay outrages prices for Clinton speeches received favorable deals or laws. Never mind all of that! Clinton can do it and it's perfectly fine and acceptable, Trump does it a much lesser form and yet he is demonized for it.

This is totally uncalled for, a real below the belt remark in my opinion.

It was pretty well established in the other thread that you lack the mental prowess to understand how time (or anything else for that matter) works, namely the difference between getting paid in office/position of power and not.

This is totally uncalled for, a real below the belt remark in my opinion.

In fairness it's considerable more factual than anything chiroteran has ever posted.

Yeh, When it comes to Hillary, it's obviously conspiracy, right?

When it comes to fees, Donald is obviously the biggest conspirator of all...

From a right-wing publication no less:

http://fortune.com/2015/08/20/donald-trump-index-funds/

Donald Trump would be richer if he’d have invested in index funds
Claire Groden
Aug 20, 2015
Trump's net worth has grown about 300% to an estimated $4 billion since 1987, according to a report by the Associated Press. But the real estate mogul would have made even more money if he had just invested in index funds. The AP says that, if Trump had invested in an index fund in 1988, his net worth would be as much as $13 billion.

The S&P 500 has grown 1,336% since 1988.

Other billionaires' net worths have beaten the stock market's growth in that time. Bill Gates, for example, saw his grow increase 7,173% since 1988 to $80 billion. Warren Buffet's wealth grew 2,612% in the same time period, to $67.8 billion.
Can you say "loser?"

What exactly would be the point of 13 billion in paper wealth? Index funds almost never pay any dividends, means he'd be generating basically 0 income in the last 30 years to achieve that 13 billion in net worth, and then he'd have to pay taxes if he wanted to cash out.

His business is generating 500-600 million a year in actual income which he can spend, and due to the real estate tax code he can reduce his liabilities to almost zero. Sure, he might have higher paper wealth today had he gone all in the stock market, but it wouldn't have supported the lifestyle he's led the last 30 years.

Eugenics doesn't have to mean skin color or country of origin.

I want to hear from that poster but feel free to explain in your own words what he meant when he quoted me and mentioned the words "seriously" and "eugenics" just from what I wrote previously.

You could tell him it went over his head, but he'd probably just say nothing goes over his head. He's too fast. He'd catch it.

See my post above. Feel free to explain or you can go on with your usual self.

Because it sounded as though you were stating that we should only allow in people of superior intellect, or more specifically we should filter who comes in based on advantageous genetic traits, aka eugenics.

In your own words, "it sounded as", NOT "you wrote this and.....". I read that post again and not one, again NOT ONE that I said anything related to " genetic traits" as you claimed.

Just as I thought. Keep digging and sooner or later, you will find something to be offended by.

Huh? It sounds like eugenics, which is offensive to those who are concerned with equality. Hence, it sounds offensive. What exactly are you blithering about?
