Insurance is less expensive for women, although they are involved in more accidents than men, because the average cost of repair from accidents caused by women is less than by men. Its simple younger males tend to be more aggressive drivers. Women of any age tend to be very careless.

Just because they are not in an accident doesn't mean they didn't cause a lot of accidents. Besides the insurance industry takes forever to make changes you know that MSDAWN aren't you in it.

I believe statistics also show women are in more accidents but they are a lot of minor ones, backing into pole or other car parking lot accidents. Men on the other hand have fewer but much more severe, because they think its cool to weave in and out of traffic on the freeway. I think our testosterone blocks our brain sometimes where most women are smart enough to stay away from that.

Men know it's(bad driving) dangerous but they don?t care, I think that some women are oblivious to the fact that they are even doing it (bad driving) . So both are bad drivers but for different reasons.

No it shows the stupidness testosterone causes...I'll admit to it I've almost gotten into a few accidents showing off or speeding when I was younger, but I knew I was being a bad driver...there is a stereotype there also. We are discussing the one in the OP.

I would also probably (guess, as ive never been in an accident nor received a ticket) say that there are women out there that have CAUSED accidents but not been in them personally....say if a woman pulls out of a parking lot causing someone to go swerving and they hit a pole....

does the woman have to pay for the car because she should yield? yes, both men and women would be affected by this (im assuming if the person that was driven off the road was paying, i have no idea)...however, if the offending women DIDNT pay, then the numbers would be skewed regarding accidents caused by women and men.

I'm pretty sure my death will entail either being run over by some woman driving her H2 while on her cell phone or by a crazy Pakistani cab driver. I've had numerous close calls with both.

Just today in fact on my way to work one such woman rolled though a red light almost taking out several pedestrians.

They should ban using your phone when driving like they have over here, £60 fine and 3 points on your licence (12 allowed in total or 6 if you've been driving for less than 2 or 3 years, that and a speeding ticket and my licence is gone for a fair while!), sure not all people take notice of this, i don't. Oh it is banned here...but the cops won't pull you over for it and it did not change the way anyone drives.
